Private cottage on Pelican Lake next to ATV/snowmobile trails

Located on beautiful 3,545 acre Pelican Lake! Shallow entrance to the lake with a sandy bottom makes it perfect for swimming for kids. We provide a stand-up paddleboard, 2 adult kayaks and 1 kids kayak and a row boat with oars. The lake is great for water sports, fishing and boating in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Snowmobile/UTV trail is located just across the street with snowmobile rental located in Rhinelander just 20 miles away. Bar with great food is located just next door. Also close by is an ice cream and gift shop, another bar, and a restaurant on the lake.

Our lake house has a large yard with plenty of space for the kids to run around and has three swings. We have 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed with a large window with a view of the lake. Second bedroom has 2 twin sized beds. In the basement there is a walk-through bedroom with a queen bed and a family room with a pull-out couch bed and 2 twin beds. One spacious full bathroom with shower/tub combo. Full kitchen with gas stovetop and oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. So sit back and enjoy the view of the lake from the kitchen table or take your coffee out onto the deck on a warm summer morning.

Great Weekend Getaway

Very nice clean and quiet cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with towels, blankets, games, puzzles and clean dishes and cookware. We did some snowmobiling and ice fishing while there, which was fun. The perch bite was good. It snowed quite a bit one day when we were there and the driveway was plowed out promptly. Overall we had an excellent time and would love to come back.

Great Fishing

We stayed at this property and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The sleeping space is wonderful and the use of the washer and dryer a plus! Access to the lake was easy and the fishing was awesome!!

Great getaway!

We loved staying at this cabin. It had everything we needed and the location was great! The lake is big enough to play on and also enjoyed cruising. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Getaway!

Beautiful property, wonderful lake for swimming and fishing. We had an amazing time here. Plenty of space, well stocked, and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful place.

Will definitely recommend it. Beautiful location, we had an amazing time. House is located on the lake and next to ATV trail. Fishing and Atv rides , so much fun.

Amazing lakefront

The property was a great location on the lake! Sandy bottom that was great for enjoying the water right at the property- very little issue with weeds! The cabin was clean and left plenty of room for our 2 families and kids!

Location and facility was excellent fir our needs

Very well kept and equipped with more then our group needed. Property owners were excellent and easy to communicate with. Probably our best fishing vacation that our group went on over the last 5 years.

Great stay on Pelican Lake

Lovely cottage on Pelican Lake. It is well laid out, comfortable and very clean. It would be a great place for a family vacation in the summer. Lots to do and plenty of games. I would highly recommend this property.

Nice lakefront vrbo

Jennifer was very informative and easy to contact with any questions. The house and property was as described. The queen beds were more comfortable than the twin beds but all in all it was a nice place. The nearby Shabby Shack ice cream shoppe is a must.

Great cabin with plenty of room

Had more room thank it looks like from the outside. Nice location, could not have been cleaner…seriously!! So clean! Nice linens, plenty of towels. Not a complaint!

Comfortable place, with a great location!

Our group of 5 adults really enjoyed this cottage for a February snowmobile weekend. It was clean, warm, comfortable, and in a great location, with plenty of parking for vehicles & trailers. It has a really nice bathroom with hot water, there are plenty of pots/pans/containers, good appliances that we used for making dinner, and the beds were very comfortable. The owner is really responsive and great to communicate with. We'll use it again.

Slice of Heaven

We stayed for 5 days. We enjoyed swimming, campfires, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and listening to nature. The kids (ages 5 & 7) enjoyed swimming off the pier where they collected stones and shells. We were able to have s’mores over a campfire. It was a beautiful home and quiet neighborhood. We rented a pontoon and were able to find lots of good fishing spots. Fans provided even though the house didn’t get super hot without A/C. We experienced a wind storm that knocked a tree on some power lines up the road from the house- causing us to lose power for a few hours. The owners called to check in on us and see if they could help in any way to get us through the power outage. Great communication!! Highly recommend!
