- There is 1 more suite (second floor)
We rent to only one family at time.
- Discount if you stay for a week.
- Pet friendly. We don't charge a pet fee.
- Built in 1900 and renovated, freshly painted with over 1/2 acre of land, off street parking, gardens with seating, secure and safe for families, less than 3 blocks to the water, Lake Michigan and the Manistee River about 1/2 mile. Full dining room, parlor, sunroom, laundry, expansive kitchen. The house is on a very quiet street of Victorians.

Great stay, Great host

Julie's Victorian home in Manistee was wonderful. You can tell right from the beginning of her love for the history of the era in which this home was built. The environment and the host were both very gracious and welcoming. I would definitely not hesitate to stay again.

Paw Paw family celebrates Christmas 2023

Good visit. Not handicapped accessible. Lovely historic home sets up a homey backdrop for holiday gathering. Large, chef’s kitchen. Warm, welcoming host.

Happy Thanksgiving

Julie is a wonderful host and her house is beautiful. She is a gracious host and walked me through the house when I checked in. She even made me delicious homemade waffles. Location is perfect - about 6 blocks to either a public, dog friendly beach or downtown Manistee. The backyard deck and fire pit were perfect for a fall campfire. I already reserved the home for Thanksgiving 2024.

Quick getaway to Manistee

This was the pefect spot for spending a few days in Manistee (and would be ideal for a longer stay, too)! The neighborhood was lovely and so quiet, and just minutes away from the beach and restaurants. The house was clean, cozy and pretty - and the back yard had a neat area for outdoor lounging, and space for our dogs to run around and play.

Cozy

this was a beautiful property with great amenities, and Julie was fantastic. The stay was comfortable and cozy and I loved it. There were no TVs anywhere. Everybody had to stay engaged. We had a very short overnights day. I would love to come and really get to enjoy the features of the house.

Hiking friends relax

The house is very well equipped and Julie was very attentive to our needs. The backyard is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only negative was 2 bathrooms instead of 3 and the upstairs only has a hand held shower in the beautiful clawfoot bathtub. We all used the downstairs master bathroom to shower. Beautiful home and very tastefully decorated.

The location of this large 6 bedroom home was perfect in beautiful Manistee! We loved our stay on the safe, quiet, lovely Victorian street.

Victorian Stay

The property and house were well maintained. The kids room upstairs needs a real bed, not a cot. Overall, very nice home, needs a few updates including air conditioning. Would recommend. Very nice owner!

Victorian Retreat

Kind and thoughtful host. Home was well equipped and beautifully appointed. The house is on a unique and large lot that provides for a private and scenic experience. It also has other beautiful Victorian homes surrounding it (nice neighborhood) and is a very short drive or pleasant walk to downtown and beach areas. We will definitely be back for another stay!

This manor house is peaceful, quiet and very private, located on a street of Victorian mansions with almost no traffic. We allow dogs and children and have ample spaces for children to play away from the street and for parking away from the street.
