Owner of unit cancelled on me after check in time
I would give zero stars if possible. I do not ever leave negative reviews; however, this was absolutely unacceptable. I had the unit rented for over 1 month prior to the stay for myself, my son, and 2 other moms with their sons for a soccer tournament. I had paid in full. Check in was at noon. I had received no check in instructions despite messaging the owner requesting them, so I called around 2:30 when I was about 30 minutes away. The owner rudely told me her home was no longer listed on this site and that I didn’t have a reservation. I confirmed the address was correct and begged her not to do this to us last minute because we were already in Southaven and lived over 2 hours away. She told me I hadn’t paid her and she hung up on me. Thank goodness for the amazing agent at VRBO who went above and beyond to help me and refunded us for the trip. He also helped us find a hotel room. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and do NOT rent this unit.
