This cozy beach cottage is perfect for lovers trying to escape to the beautiful shores of Panama City Beach. Located in the quieter area of west end Panama City Beach just steps from the beach, this historic home comes equipped with modern character but manages to keep its beach deco nostalgia. After a day at the beach, enjoy the private yard space perfect for late night star gazing. Just a short drive from the shops and accommodations of both Pier Park to the East and lovely 30A to the west this location will serve to be your best advantage however you choose to enjoy your stay. Our previous guest have enjoyed the quick proximity to the grocery and to locally famous Mikes Donuts

So Darn Cute, So Darn Neglected

Vintage FL cottage. Shabby Chic on steroids. Unique paintings throughout, but the nudes in 2nd BR not appropriate for children. Decor really cute w/ that exception. Great location to beach & grocery store. Fenced backyard for dog. OK neighborhood. Neighbors nice. Recommended we keep vehicles & cottage locked. We walked in the evenings & felt safe. Property manager, Ike, responded quickly to concerns. Now the bad. No info about TV, WiFi, garbage, check out. Property neglected. Surface clean only. Found prescription drug tablets left on the dresser in the main BR. Borderline hoarder situation. Cabinets, drawers, & under beds stuffed & disorganized. 30 beach towels there. Why so many? Linens mismatched & appeared to be worn out thrift store finds. Not sure main bed linens had been changed prior to our arrival. Hair & dirt on them. Did find clean replacements w/ considerable sorting & folding of stuffed cabinet. Dead roaches on floor. Dust hanging from fan blades and blinds. Dirty under furniture, dirty walls, peeling paint. Could see daylight around outside doors. Water faucet in shower barely tight. Difficult to adjust water temp. Washer OK. Dryer worked but very noisy. Mold and dirt in bottom of refrigerator. Outside unkept. Overgrown shrubs. Broken lawn ornaments about. Filthy plastic Adirondack chairs. Weeds throughout small yard area. The outside was basically unusable for us.

Lovely stay

Had a great time! Excellent location and very cozy. The art in unit was especially great and added to the funky bohemian beach vibe. The kids dug it (although a second TV might’ve helped in the evenings) and there was nothing unsafe. The whole area seemed family friendly—a big deal for us. We also loved that it was pet friendly and that there was a private outside area. Overall it was the perfect spot for a quick beach getaway and we’d definitely consider staying there again. I mean, you can’t beat being a short walk to such a gorgeous spot of the gulf and still be close to amenities without being in the crowds up the road. And lastly, the host was very attentive and easy to contact, which is always a huge plus.
