Great Family vacation Home

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We all have plenty of room and the location is great. The home was clean and Communication was very easy with the property manager. Will definitely stay here again.

Great property

We stayed at the property for a girls weekend. There was about 12 of us and the house was perfect for our group! Beautiful home!

Lovely property for a large family to gather

We enjoyed the property’s location and that it accommodated our large family. There is a great amount of space to gather as a large group or to spread out - enough bedrooms to give people personal space. The beds were very comfortable. It also had a well-stocked kitchen. However, there are a lot of stairs, which may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Overall, a great place to stay in the Okoboji area if you have a large family or group.

Family Getaway

Our stay was fabulous. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, and all the fun that the Iowa Great Lakes has to offer! The house was clean. Communication was seamless. We would stay again.

Awesome stay

This place is awesome, we will for sure be back. Kids loved it, and adults too. Really enjoyed this place and everything was easy and breezy. The stairs start to be a lot if you are older or have issues, so be warned. Can't wait to be back!

Highly recommend

As a family of 14 we totally enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed all the extra space. The view was spectacular. We were provided with everything that we needed. This place met all of our expectations and we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful Vacay Home

Our host had amazing communication with us the entire stay. The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We accidentally took an extension cord that wasn't ours & the host communicated with us after our stay to figure out the best solution for all of us. I would definitely recommend this vacay home.

Great stay at Okoboji

We had a great experience at this house. Overall, the house was clean. We didn't notice the main floor was the top floor so those who had mobility issues had a little harder time getting up and down but this is to be expected with a house on the lake. The location right on the lake was fantastic with amazing sunset views and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with basic items. We would definitely stay again!

Family getaway with adult children

We very much enjoyed our family vacation at this home on Spirit Lake. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and had a wonderful view on the lake. The hosts had the home stocked with any supplies we needed. There were 10 adults in our group and plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably and have time to ourselves if we desired. All of our questions were answered promptly via email. We would definitely stay here again!

Staycation Family Reunion

Our family gathered at Okoboji for a family reunion, with two families being local and 2 families traveling. The facility is wonderful - clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated . Sleeping accommodations for all ages as well as many comfortable gathering areas. The location is private, with a grassy area for outdoor games and a dock for fishing, boating, and swimming. Local attractions and shopping are only minutes away. It was perfect. The only down side is parking, which can be a little tricky if too many vehicles. Our family highly recommends this VRBO!

Family Reunion

The property couldn’t have been more perfect for our family get together. It was much bigger than I anticipated and we had more than enough room on each floor to have our personal space and a place to relax for all. The lower floor had a lovely pool table and we also rented the pontoon boat that was already at the rental. My only suggestion would be to add some space for clothes to be hung up since there aren’t closets in the majority of the rooms. Overall, it was a success and clean and comfortable home. I highly recommend this rental.

Family Vacation

The property was very nice. The Wi-Fi could use a booster or something as we were told there were smart Tv's, but we could not get enough speed to use the TV on the second level. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen could use more utensils etc. There was a very low supply of towels in the kitchen. We spent a lot of time in the house as the weather was not the greatest. We found it very comfortable for our group to visit. Be aware there are A LOT of stairs. If you have elderly in your group be aware. The dishwasher is not bolted in. When you try to load it falls out. Other than the suggestions listed above the house is very comfortable and has a great view of the lake.

Amazing Property!

This property housed our party of 19 well! It was big enough for everyone to enjoy the common area without feeling like we were on top of each other and the sleeping arrangements were great. The views are fun and the amenties were everything we needed and more. The parking was perfect for the amount of cars we had as it is a big driveway! Instructions for check in/out were laid out well and easy to follow. The house is not too far from all that Boji has to offer and was a great accomodation for our stay. The only thing to note for the house is that the bunk bed upstairs is maybe not the most ideal for adults as the bottom bunk is very close to the top. That made it a little hard to get in and out of and the top of the bunk is very close to you when you are sleeping in the bed. It is a queen bunk, which is awesome, but sleeping two on the top of that bunk seemed to bow the bed a little bit. So it could maybe be best fit for teens (mainly because it does not have rails on the sides for small kiddos)! Otherwise, this was great for us and I highly reccomend it to anyone looking to enjoy Boji! Thank you to the amazing hosts - we had a beautiful time and you were great to work with. :)

Multi-generational Family Vacation

This was our first multi-generational family vacation. 5 families, and ages ranged from 70 years old to 20 months. There was more than enough space for everyone!!! The place was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. The private dock was a huge hit for everyone that wanted to fish. The fire pit area was large enough for a big group! There were plenty of linens, towels and pillows. There was plenty of driveway space for parking. The house had a very interesting layout that was a big hit with the kids; and you get a workout in with all the stairs! A couple suggestions: options of dishwasher safe plastic cups and plates would have been nice with all the kids and so we didn't have to have glass by the firepit and on the dock. There was a load of clean towels in the dryer from the prior guests and a load of clean damp sheets in the washing machine. So, we had to "do laundry" when we arrived in order to free up the washer/dryer. There were expired condiments in the fridge. Minimal napkins and foil- not a huge deal, but we didn't pack any so we had to run out. The upstairs bunk room air conditioner unit was not functional, but the homeowners came out asap to trouble shoot and bought 2 tall floor fans when they could not fix the unit. Some citronella candles or tiki torches for the deck bugs would have been a bonus! Darn Okoboji mosquitos. There was an empty propane tank on the grill. But overall we were very pleased and will likely re-book!!
