Spacious Modern Home near Ocean Resort + Boardwalk

Welcome to my stunning and very spacious midcentury-modern home that was fully renovated last year.

You'll notice the Parisian accents and tasteful decor throughout the home, including cozy reading nooks, built-in bookcases, crystal chandeliers, and other joyous accents added by our European interior design team.

The kitchen features butcher block countertops in its open-concept design and comes outfitted with everything your family and friends might need to enjoy a home-cooked meal or to recharge after a relaxing trip to the beach.

Homes like these are a true rarity in Atlantic City, especially so close to the boardwalk and Ocean Resort and Casino. Our home is across from the prestigious Pennsylvania Avenue School and next door to the chairman of the City Council, so it's extremely safe and well-lit at night.

Girls Weekend Get Away!

Fantastic trip made even better by a nice place to stay in a location that was convenient to boardwalk, restaurants, shopping and casinos. Plenty of space for all of the ladies to spread out and celebrate together.

Clean, organize and modern property

I am very delighted about my stay in this house. Cleanliness and organization were the first thing I noticed when I entered the house. I enjoyed spending time with my family, and the beach and boardwalk were very close to the place!

Convenient and Cute Getaway!

We stayed at this adorable house while we were attending Career Conference for Mary Kay. It was so close to where we had to be and we were pleasantly surprised how adorable it was! Everything was tidy, there was so much room and the hosts were a joy to do business with. All in all we would definitely book here again.

Don’t stay here!!!

The house was freezing when we arrived. It took forever to heat the house. Not adequately heated, you have to use electric plug in heaters to make it comfortable. The house has window units so all of the cold air comes in around them. When the wind blows, it whistles and howls through the entire house. The springs of the couch poke you when you sit.The hot water heater rumbles and makes a loud noise when using hot water. The can lights in the living room are falling out. All of the outside trash cans are full and overflowing. The yard has trash all over it. They ask you to take the cans to the road if you stay on pick up day which I was not about to do with three large and full cans.

AC trip!

Mary and John were amazing hosts! This house was perfect for my friends and I. It was very spacious and clean and had so much room for all of us! The location was perfect and so close to everything!

Overall great stay!

The house was left clean, prepared for us properly, and overall was clean and tidy. We had a great time and the house was never an issue in any way. The wall unit ACs worked very well, it was a very hot weekend. Showers, beds, kitchen, etc all of the essentials were as good as can be asked for. Most importantly, the host was attentive and available when I had questions and needed to reach out to him, that goes a long way. 4 stars!

Close to the Boardwalk

Location was very close the boardwalk and casinos which was perfect. Amenities in the house were usable but were close to the end of life. Couch was very uncomfortable, bathroom and kitchen fixtures were loose and not working properly. All of the beds were thin and uncomfortable mattresses. There is no front porch furniture which was a shame because it was a beautiful weekend. Overall good place to stay but the house could use some care and attention.

Perfect Getaway

Coming into it my family and i just needed a place to stay. But this house became more then that. Very safe security features, comfy beds and extra mattresses, kitchen utensils and appliances. This place was amazing and i would definitely book it again.

Beautiful property

We certainly loved this property and the host’s professionalism. The house is exactly as described: fresh, spotless and cozy. Every space was carefully decorated with an exquisite taste. I particularly loved the reading nook, to scape & immerse in my readings while hubby & the kids watched tv. We felt very secured inside the house with such an efficient alarm system. The house is walking distance to the boardwalk, but since the streets were somewhat isolated, we decided not to hang out outside and drove around instead of walking. Also, there were private parking by the beach (only $4 or $5 for up to 8 hours). There are also some nice restaurants and arcades for kids inside the big hotels which is also a nice attraction to add to your vacation. Mary & John are super host and were always very quick on responding when we had any questions or concern. Will definitely recommend!

FRAUD

Booked this place thinking it would be perfect for my friends & I for a night out in AC. No contact from the host, no code given to get into place, completely ghosted & ruined our plans. We waited until 4pm thinking we would get a message right at check in time but we were wrong. We had to call the casino to stay there and luckily we got discounted room rates. Check in was 4pm we had dinner at 6:30pm. We were at the location at the ring doorbell & still no response. THIS HOST LEFT US NO WHERE TO STAY. VRBO ended up refunded me for this stay.

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT MESSAGE

I have read reviews about good communication. There was not. I was concerned about the parking situation and I couldnt get a straight answer from either host, John or Mary. The last thing you want to do is park anywhere BUT on the property and i was told many times street parking was the option, but also there was a dirt lot that could fit a few cars. I was concerned for my party as I did not want others to compromise their vehicles. If i was told the lot next to the house was massive this could have all been avoided. If you are wondering about the lot, I am here to tell you there is more than enough parking for at least 6-8 cars. I was overly concerned because I had heard about the downturn of Atlantic City, but i was not ready for what we were in for. Not the hosts issue, but please be aware you are in the middle of drug addict zombie land with no law enforcement anywhere. It is a straight 10 min walk to the boardwalk - you do not feel safe anywhere you are besides locked inside this house. I was with any adult males along with myself, so I did feel safe in this group, but i would never recommend older community or bringing younger children to this area. Please learn from my mistake. As for cleanliness, the garbage was left in the back from previous parties, flies and animals were going through it. But threatened multiple cleaning charges of their own. Dishonesty throughout the listing. I wouldnt go back to AC or stay here again. I am sorry, I am just being honest
