Quirky unique caboose style stay close to quaint river towns and Lake Pepin!

The Love Train is built to inspire a caboose style stay. A gorgeous Mississippi view awaits you from inside and outside of the private deck of this tiny home. A queen bed is lofted while a twin daybed with a trundle provides more sleeping space in the main area. A full bathroom and partial kitchen plus an outdoor deck and private space with a fire pit are enjoyed with stays at The Love Train. Train and traffic noise can be heard at times. Ample parking is available, and we are EV friendly! We are 10-15 min from both Wabasha and Lake City, were groceries, gas, food and shops are located. The Mississippi River Valley has so much to offer, and we would love to help you plan your visit! Check out The National Eagle Center, wineries/breweries, thrifting/boutique shopping, water activities, public beaches and tons more! Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the Lake Pepin area.

We loved our stay at the Love Train for our mother daughter get away. View was wonderful, the hosts were so nice and checked, plus offered suggestions about things to day. It was the quiet getaway we were hoping for!

View Eagles on the private deck!

This cute Train themed tiny house was the perfect setting for our Eagle viewing vacation. Hosts are very responsive. The house .et all our needs and we did not have to leave our deck to watch the eagles . Wonderful setting!

Weekend get away

We wanted some down time not far from home and this was perfect. Different scenery and the Love Train was so cozy and it was relaxing.

Girls weekend

Our “train car” tiny house was exactly as advertised. Very clean, a small/tiny refrigerator and a microwave. We had everything we needed although a little bigger refrigerator would be nice. The “trundle bed” was a mattress on the floor. We had a great time and our host was great.

We loved our stay. The cabin is adorable and has everything you need. Very clean and convenient. Check in was so easy. The sunset and moon views over the water were spectacular.
