Note to guests: We can accommodate early check-in and check-out as long as there aren't back-to-back bookings on those dates.
Our cabin was built in 2003 so it is much newer and more updated compared to most cabins in Big Bear. We have worked so hard to ensure our cabin is fully furnished and incorporated with everything that our guests would need during their mountain get away stay. Our cabin is a spacious 1200 square feet with 2 beds / 2 baths, a sofa bed and offers plenty of room for a group of 6 people.
Our front porch has two comfortable, sturdy rocking chairs to sit in and enjoy the mountain air and landscape.
Our inviting living room has a natural rock woodburning fireplace, a TV with Roku, entertainment console with games and a comfy sofa that folds out into a queen bed. It also has a bean bag chair for lounging and plenty of blankets to curl up under. You'll love sitting on the front deck in the mornings, drinking coffee or tea from our stocked coffee and tea bar, enjoying the beauty of the national forest.
The downstairs has a fully equipped kitchen, a full bath and a full-size laundry room.
Upstairs a hallway connects the two bedrooms with a spacious full bathroom - with a Jack and Jill vanity - shower/tub in between that is also ensuite to the master bedroom.
The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed, bedside lamps that have USB ports, a workspace with a desk and chair, large sliding door closet with hangers, dresser, and a smart TV.
The second bedroom is designed for adults and kids. It has a queen bed, and the bunk is single. It also has a large sliding door closet with hangers and a dresser. The bed has a TV with Roku. Another perfect chill out spot.
Sugarloaf is a community that feels more "off the beaten path" and not as well-known as other areas of Big Bear. Since we are only footsteps away from the national forest and don't have neighbors across the street, we feel like we are isolated from all the busy traffic, loud noises and chaos that comes with a popular vacation destination especially during the peak season months. Our access to the trail system is phenomenal and our neighbors are amazing.
