Duped? BEWARE. No Air & Extra Fees
15 min before we arrived after traveling 15hrs to get there, I see they sent me a bill for an extra $2,000 above what I’ve already paid. It ends up that they think they should have charged more since TSwift was in town. If that was the case I would have booked in the French Quarter for cheaper than they were now trying to bill me. I did get that taken off after time on phone, but now its 87degrees in the townhome. I know they knew it was this warm from conversations. They sent the maint.man out 2x the first night and the security co out the next. It was never fixed our whole vacation so we slept with doors open as it was hot. They did drop off fans which we appreciated but also had to put some together ourselves. The windows had no screens. We spent plenty of our time trying to get AIR fixed. I asked for a portion of what I paid back and was told no. VRBO told me their hands were tied- I just wanted air in New Orleans and to not waste my time dealing with this. There are no window coverings in the living room so no privacy. There were cobwebs/dead bugs in the front windows I had to get rid of or my daughter would have freaked. The window coverings in the bedrooms were black paper blinds that stayed down the whole time. 1 of the bedrooms, the ceiling fan was on low speed and wouldn’t change. 1 bathroom was tough for us all but that’s on me. Not quite as nice as pics but would have been fine if I had AIR & if they would have made things right with small reimbursement
