About this space:
Enjoy a stylish experience at our quaint Casita Café located in the heart of San Diego.
Located no more than 15 minutes away from all that San Diego has to offer from beaches, to the world famous San Diego Zoo.
If staying local is more your speed, you're a pleasant 10 min walk or 5 min bike ride to the main street in Kensington that offers everything from delicious French food at Blue Boheme to gelato at Pappalecco.
Dogs welcome (2 max) with approval, but cannot be left alone in the unit.

The space:
Cafe Casita is a professionally designed one bedroom property with WiFi, a dog run, and on site laundry. The unit is located directly behind the main home.

The bedroom has a brand name queen mattress, small closet with hangers, and both iphone and android chargers in the nightstand. The living room’s couch folds down to the size of a full sized mattress.

We have a large kitchen table that can absolutely function as a desk with a surge power strip easily accessible under the table.

The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove top, oven , microwave, coffee maker, fridge, bottled still and sparkling water, utensils, pots, pans, bowls, plates, and glassware. We’ve also included the basic seasonings for preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner.

For entertainment, the 50' inch flat screen Smart TV has a Roku for your use. You can log into your favorites or stream directly from your phone.

Available with advance notice, we have two beach cruiser bikes, and a bike lock. They’re perfect for getting around Kensington and Normal Heights. Helmets are not included. We ask that you do not leave the bikes overnight anywhere other than the property. If the bikes are lost or stolen as a result, a fee will be assessed.

For your beach trips we have beach towels and a beach bag!

You’ll also find in the bathroom several towels, make-up wipes, cotton balls, and q-tips.

We are pet-friendly, however, we do ask that you keep your pet off the bed, and never leave them unattended for long periods. We also have a max of two dogs per reservation due to size. We have dog treats located in the kitchen for your furry friend and dog bowls located in the bedroom. There is a narrow enclosed dog run that can be accessed from the bedroom. We have provided poop bags and a dedicated trash can in the run for your convenience. If there are any accidents in the house, or excessive cleaning of linens and furniture, we will need to add an additional $150 cleaning fee.

In addition, there is absolutely no smoking in the casita or on the premises. Additional cleaning charges of $150 will be incurred if this policy is broken.

Guest access:
The entire Casita is yours with access via a smart lock. You have one (1) dedicated parking spot if needed in front of the main house. The property is gated and you will be able to access the front gate via smart lock. We ask that for the safety of all residents, you ensure all gates are closed after entering and exiting.

There are other friendly dogs that reside on the property but will not have any access to the Casita. You may see them walk past on their walks, please feel free to share a treat!
