Worst Stay Ever!
This trip began with the "property admin" texting me the day before telling me the unit would not be "ready" for the first day of my stay. After some back and forth, I was offered a place in the the same complex. In spite of the huge inconvenience, the room was at least decent and as advertised. Then I had to move into the "real" place, which wasn't even close to the VRBO photo and description.There were no instructions about the place there or sent to me, and I was only sent info on the check-in process.
It was tiny, old, dark, damp, rundown, and there was pet hair all over the couch and floor. The shower had a strange pipe that dripped,and kept me awake. I could hear the upstairs neighbors talking and walking around after midnight. The temp was hard to regulate, and I woke up shivering. The shower was lukewarm/cold a coulpe of times. I was going to let it all go, but then the power went out on Wednesday, and I couldn't reach the admin. She finally replied that she notified the owner. I asked her to update me, she never did. I tried to get info throughout the day, but she never replied. Finally, in the evening she said I could stay in "the hotel" and I'd be refunded for one night." It made no sense. Then she texted the power was back on, and that was her final communication with me. No reponse to any of my texts with concerns and questions, and did not even text me or respond when I asked about checking out. No response. No apologies. Charged me FULL price.
