Incredible location, ground floor, ocean view, front row unit. Never ending ocean views to watch the whales in season, enjoy views of the islands of Molokai Lanai, gorgeous sunsets from the living room and the lanai.

Daily $25 facility fee due upon check-in, include: parking, two swimming pools, jet spas, lighted tennis courts, two 12-hole putting greens, picnic areas with barbecue grills, and poolside cabanas that can accommodate up to 35 people.
Easy walk to restaurants, stores, shopping and to famous Kaanapali beach.

Maui Perfection

Lovely condo on beautiful property in the most perfect location. Hosts were phenomenal with recommendations and communication. We felt like we were staying with family friends. Perfect for whale watching, swimming, exploring Maui. I wish we stayed longer!

Lovely and convenient

Always love staying at Papakea. The convenience of having a ground level until with a perfect view was impeccable! Amenities were great, the room had just about everything we needed, and the hosts were very responsive. Overall a great stay and highly recommend.

Uncomfortable

The view and grounds are incredible. Our group rented 12 units. This one was not the same caliber as the others. Very outdated. The bathroom has no fan and a shower curtain that doesn’t fit so each time used the bathroom was wet and humid. No place in the SMALL shower for soap, shampo . The tile is so old we didn’t feel comfortable placing these things on the floor. The towels are thin and stained. The laundry closet is impossible to use without bumping your head and anyone with any weight could not even fit in it to use it. If it weren’t for the view from the lani it would have been an uncomfortable stay. All the other units we rented were in much much better shape and well cared for. So it your going to this resort- shop around for other units.

Spectacular view at an oceanfront property

Overall, this is a fantastic unit for honeymooners and families alike. Great access to the beach with stunning views from the back patio. It included all the commodities and amenities needed (cooler, umbrella, beach chairs, etc). The pullout couch bed was perfect for our kids. To address a concern brought up from a previous review, we seldomly saw critters because it appeared there were mitigation efforts set up by the host. This is to be expected being on the first floor and so close to the water. We enjoyed our week's stay and would definitely recommend!

Great location, small things need attention

The grounds, pool, and location of this condo are the best things of this property. The unit is nice but needs a few things addressed. Bedroom door would get stuck, toilet took a long time to fill, bed was not that comfortable.

Very SAD Anniversary trip

The room was NOT ready at 4pm. Waited until 6pm because the previous renters trashed the place. Felt bad for the cleaning lady. COCKRAOCHES!!! That was the first thing we saw. The dishwasher was broken/outlets did not work/fan in bathroom broken/moldy curtains. Repair techs showed up unannounced. NOT a very pleasant stay at all. And I was not reimbursed at all. I had to track down the "Host" and get her personal number bc she did not return my emails with my questions for weeks. If anyone wants more info on this place, I will gladly give more information.

Great views, amazing time

Wouldn't hesitate to stay at the property again. Everything was exactly as described. The views are amazing (especially in the winter where you can see whales on the lanai).
