About this space
A picturesque historical farm located one mile from the heart of Brevard NC. A nostalgic spot to wake up to a day of hiking, mountain biking, cycling, fly fishing, or a lovely breakfast in town before antiquing or visiting one of many waterfalls.

We are a small farm continuing to build a legacy of tradition, including this beautiful 75 year old farm house. Owned by a painter and writer, there is original artwork throughout the house and tranquility awaits you at our lovely old homestead.
The space
You will have the farmhouse to yourself, which consists of the entire first floor. (The second floor is closed now, but will be renovated in the future to accommodate more guests!) there are 2 bed rooms, one with a Queen bed and the second with a Queen Bed and 1 Twin Bed.

There is a full bathroom in the hallway with a nice walk-in shower.

You are welcome to store your bikes, kayaks, and outdoor gear in the garage! (No vehicles please due to the tile floor)

There are outdoor areas to gather on the deck, back screened porch, and front enclosed porch.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire living, kitchen, dining, and main bedroom on the first floor of the farmhouse, and you will be the only guests on the property.
Other things to note: We have one security camera in the mud room for the front door, and one in the shed by the pasture. There is also a security camera in the basement but this area is not accessible to guests. We have a furnace for heat, but no central air at this time. The house stays fairly cool during the day and evenings are extremely pleasant. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and throughout the living space - we love opening the windows and enjoying the fresh air.
