Whether you're boating, fishing, ORV ing, hunting or snowmobiling, this is a perfect location for a memorable get away with family and friends. BSL is an all sports lake, so bring your boat, Sea Doo, fishing rod, and swimming gear. We've seen bass, walleye and pike caught frequently out of BSL. The cottage is approximately 200 ft from and within a few minutes walk to a small private beach access next to the boat launch as part of your stay. ORV and snowmobile trails are popular and in abundance in the area. As featured in National Geographic, the Blue Ribbon Pere Marquette River is 10 minutes away with world renowned trout and salmon fishing, not to mention, canoeing, kayaking and tube floating. Guests fly into the Baldwin airport from all over the world just to fish the PM. Ludington is 45 minutes away with lots of great restaurants and one the best beaches in the world-- Lake Michigan. A golfer? You can't miss the golf course coming into the Big Star Lake area or the family friendly Nataka restaurant across from it.
