This private home in a residential area located in the US National Forest near Chenoceta Mountain in Habersham County GA. Conveniently located just minutes from downtown Cornelia to enjoy eating out, shopping and other local amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped to ready any cook looking to impress friends or family while on vacation! Numerous walking trails in the immediate area plus approximate 30 minute drive to white water rafting, waterfall hunting and hiking the Appalachian Trail. Wildlife is plentiful and enjoy watching the birds feed on the back patio overlooking the National Forest mountains and Lake Russell below.

Thanksgiving stay

Had a great time with family for Thanksgiving at the property. Beautiful location and view and property. Would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful property

Wow! We were blown away by how nice this property is! The house is beautifully decorated and is so spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is completely outfitted with supplies. We had everything we needed and more. The bathrooms had water glasses and soft white, fluffy towels. Every little personal touch made it a lovely, luxurious place to stay and relax for the weekend. The best thing was the view; it is divine! We got up in the mornings and sat out on the patio with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise. It is peaceful and private. The owners were responsive when we had an issue getting the door to lock. He came over right away to check it out. We will wholeheartedly recommend this property to others and we hope to return again.

Another great stay at this amazing home!

This is our favorite place near Piedmont University! We will be spending a lot of time in the area over the next four years and are so glad we have found this lovely and comfortable home. The view is beautiful and the house has everything we could ask for and more. We look forward to more stays in the future!

Better than the photos!

This house is so lovely and comfortable! The view and the gardens in the backyard are not done justice by the pictures. We had a great time sitting under the covered patio and watching the hummingbirds, bumble bees, fireflies and birds enjoy all the flowers. The home has everything we needed and was very nicely decorated. I always judge a rental by the towels and these are big and fluffy! Communication with the host was very quick and she was always helpful. The town of Cornelia has a couple of great restaurants, one with live music, and the proximity to Piedmont University is a huge plus. This will be our go to rental when visiting our daughter going forward. We really had a hard time leaving, this is one of the very best VRBOs we have stayed in. Loved it!!

Awesome home in a great location

This home is really nice with all of the amenities you need. The view is amazing....amazing. And the location is fantastic. You feel like you are way out in the mountains but you can be in downtown Cornelia in just a few minutes. We came to town for our son's baseball games at Piedmont University. The school is about 15 minutes. We like to eat at Community Tap & Brew and the other restaurants downtown. They are just a few minutes from the house. Again, very nice place to stay in a wonderful location with a five star view.
