Cherrywood Ranch is a one-of-a-kind luxury vacation home and wedding venue on 35 scenic acres in North Georgia. If you are planning a wedding. The wedding venue is available for an additional fee (see full description for details). Enjoy a resort-style pool with hot tub, fire pit, grill, and more. Perfect for family getaways or unforgettable celebrations. Relax, explore, and soak in the epic beauty of Cherrywood Ranch and its peaceful mountain surroundings.

The space
Cherrywood Ranch is ideal for creating unforgettable memories with family and friends. We are not just a VRBO where you can host a wedding—we are a true wedding venue, thoughtfully designed to make your celebration beautiful, seamless, and stress-free.

If you're planning a wedding during your stay, Cherrywood Ranch Wedding Venue is available for an additional $3,750 fee for up to 75 guests. This includes access to our beautifully decorated 30x40 pavilion with romantic lighting and drapes, tables, chairs, linens, a vintage sweetheart loveseat, vendor tables, an outdoor bar, a stunning ceremony area with an arch, and many other thoughtful amenities. Please inquire about our weekday wedding specials.

Unlike traditional venues with tight schedules, Cherrywood Ranch gives you the freedom to truly enjoy every moment.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply relaxing, Cherrywood Ranch offers the perfect blend of elegance and adventure. Enjoy a resort-style pool with a slide and hot tub, a cozy fire pit, an outdoor grill, and plenty of open space for gathering and making memories.

We truly have a unique listing with beautiful furnishings and everything you could need to enjoy your experience in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains. We've included everything we could to allow you [our beloved guests] not to leave the property once you check in.

The open-concept kitchen, dining, and family room at the front of the house, with the large 60" TV above the fireplace, allows chefs and loungers to interact easily and be entertained while preparing delicious meals.

Adults & kids can entertain each other in the large game room, which contains a pool table/ping pong table, an abundance of game boards + card games, a full bar, and a 60" TV.

You can cook a great meal in the fully equipped kitchen or have a backyard feast using the outdoor grill.

The backyard has ample seating and dining options, a wood-burning fire pit, and a resort-style swimming pool with an attached jacuzzi.

Main floor:
The entry, living room, and dining room are all open-concept, with a large chef's kitchen, a family room, a master bedroom, and three guest rooms. All the guest bedrooms on the first floor have private bathrooms except one. These areas are set up and designed to provide comfortable settings for families to come together and have warm, authentic conversations/experiences. Additionally, they are great for entertaining large groups!

Second floor
The second floor has two bedrooms sharing a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. There is also a shared patio with incredible views.

Guest Safety and Cleanliness are truly our top priorities at Cherrywood Ranch. The property is maintained to the highest industry standards.

Other things to note
We have a small fenced-in pasture available if you want to bring your horses. The Frady Branch Equestrian and Bike Trail System is across the street, with over 17,000 acres of trails to enjoy with your horse. We have the best horseback riding trails in north Georgia; you can enjoy them at no extra cost. We also have 5 Kayaks to take to Lake Hartwell, 20 minutes away.
Guest access
Guests can access the home, its front and back yard areas, and all 35 acres of fenced property.
Only the garage is off-limits.

From the moment we walked onto the property until we closed the front door and left, it was a pleasurable vacation. The house, pool area and grounds were even more spectacular than the pictures. The owners were very friendly, and we will definitely be staying at this location again. The entire family was very pleased with everything. The owners even took us on a private excursion. it was amazing!

Incredible place to stay!

The property, particularly the pool and the layout (if you want lots of space, open flow, yet still a feeling of togetherness) are even better in person than in the pictures! Luis is a gracious, helpful host, you have everything you need, and are in a beautiful, quiet, picturesque setting!

Best place Ever

This was the best stay ever, the hosts were so kind to us and so helpful! We had our wedding at the vacation home and it was such a wonderful experience. My family still talks about it and wants to go back just for a family vacation. The host went above and beyond for us and made the experience so much easier! A wonderful house!

We are a group of friends who enjoyed our 44th annual girl's trip. The house was very nice, well equipped and clean. The pool area and view were wonderful. The hosts (owners) could not have been more accommodating. If we had a problem Luis was there right away to take care of it. I could not give a better recommendation.

Perfect Laid-Back Wedding Venue

My wife, family, and I had a great time during our stay at Cherrywood Ranch. Luis or Don were always available and they helped out so much preparing the wedding of our dreams by setting up the venue and making sure we had everything needed including things we had forgot to bring. The venue comfortably fit 50 of us, and the place was great for a reception full of dancing, yard games, and swimming for all ages. The house itself is beautiful and well stocked that let us prepare our own backyard BBQ style dinner for the wedding. The cats, dogs, horses, and koi made the place feel like home for the week we stayed there. If you're looking for a laid back wedding or a Northern Georgia getaway this place will tick all the boxes.

It’s not as it looks

When you first arrive the house is beautiful, however, it’s very outdated on the inside. The only bedroom with a television is the master. The mattresses are very worn. This house is good if you are looking for a place that you need a lot of beds to just crash out. This is not a good fit for multiple couples. It’s listed as no pets allowed, however you will have to deal with the properties dog and two cats. And you are made to feel bad for asking them to put them up, because they feel their animals are very friendly. There is no privacy. The owners are very nice and accommodating, but there home is right beside you. You will always see either the owner or the grounds keeper each and every day. The house needs a really good cleaning both inside and out, it’s dirty and dusty.

House that feels like a resort!

For the past 16 years we, along with our 3 grown sons and their families (7 grands ages 4-12), and 83 year old grandmother (16 in total) use VRBO to locate an least 5 Bedroom, 5Bath with private pool for family vacation. We usually stay at the beach or in Orlando but we branched out this year and stayed in the most wonderful, resort like home ever!! Cherrywood Ranch had 4 owner suites with bedrooms to spare!! Every bed was wonderful! The pool area with magnificent view of the mountains was used continually and was of the finest quality!! The gorgeous landscaping was the backdrop for beautiful family portraits!! As mom/ grandmother of this crew, I cook every night! The outdoor kitchen overlooking pool/mountains was A+ and the gourmet kitchen had enough silverware for an army, t-fal cookware, induction stove, pot filler and a pantry stocked with small appliances and fabulous cookware! It made cooking SO easy!! We visited: Athens (first on the day we arrived... only 45 min from the estate) Bear Hollow Zoo and Sanford Stadium along with the student bookstore were all big hits in Athens.... We arrived at 4:00 and the owners met us! Luis and Nancy were super super helpful!! They went above and beyond, even offered to show a movie under the stars one night (our grandchildren were in bed by 8 each night so we passed!)!! We went to Unicoi and Helen (the kids loved the candy shop!!), hiked to Anna Ruby Falls, hiked up Curahee Mtn twice, conquered the stairs into Tallulah Gorge and hiked to Minnehaha Falls! We had Sunday brunch at Yonah Coffee and cafe’ (yum)!! We loved having family basketball games, and walking the property!! Everyone hated leaving Penelope (owner’s well mannered boxer!) and our week ended too quickly!! We celebrated our 40th anniversary and our master’s suite could not have been improved upon: gorgeous double head shower “shacuzzi”; fabulous jacuzzi tub surrounded in granite, his/her vanities and huge closet!! Best part: it opened to pool area! Thankyou, Mendezes, for a week we’ll never forget!! We will return! We’ve already shared info with two families that saw photos on Facebook!! Loved this place!

Wonderful home & hosts

Nancy & Luis were wonderful hosts. They answered any questions we had right away and were able to recommend local places to visit. Only about 15 minutes to town. The home is very well laid out and supplied. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor kitchen. Kids and family loved the pool, spa, and outdoor living area. Views are spectacular - sunset over the mountains was beautiful.

Wonderful Georgia stay

We had a wonderful time by the pool at Cherrywood Ranch. The house is perfect for a large family group. The owners are extremely attentive to the property and were able to answer questions and concerns quickly. The area is beautiful with a few larger towns within 30-45 minutes. Amazing experience at this jewel in the north Georgia mountains.

The property had everything you look for in a private resort and true to what’s advertised with a concierge service from Luis & Nancy. It was unforgettable experience with a breathtakingly view of mountains you get to enjoy from the pool, hot tub , koi pond, beautifully curated garden and backyard. The interior of the house was tastefully decorated with a open design layout , well equipped kitchen, large family room, game room and outside grill on the same floor allowed everyone to be around and still enjoy the activities together. We were a big group with teenagers and thoroughly enjoyed the time at the property and got to experience southern hospitality from Luis and Nancy. This property is also accessible to some amazing waterfalls , St Helen and winery. I will strongly recommend staying at this property to enjoy Georgia mountains with family and friends.

Luis and Nancy’s home is breathtaking. I stayed here along with my wedding party of 16 and everyone was comfortable. The views are amazing and the home is amply stocked with what you need. Communication with the hosts was great and they made sure that we were happy with our stay.

Family gathering for our Son’s wedding

Wow, this property is beyond words. The setting is gorgeous, the house is a mansion and the pool area is exquisite. It exceeded expectations. We live in Virginia and came to Toccoa for our son’s wedding. Many family members stayed at Cherrywood Ranch ranging in age from 6-62. The night before the wedding we hosted a dinner at the house for family and close friends. What a perfect place to celebrate. Luis and Nancy were so helpful in suppling items needed. They are on the property in a small house close by. Available to help with any needs, but not intrusive. I highly recommend Cherrywood Ranch. Our experience could not have been better. Fantastic Spot for Family and Friends!

The home and surrounding property are amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. The layout of the rooms allows for both family/friends togetherness and, if you desire, the privacy of your own space. We had 6 adults and 2 kids (ages 4 and 1). The pool, spa, fire pit, ping pong table, pool table and sound system were used extensively during the entire stay. The property owners became our friends and were very attentive to any needs we had. Bottom line, this was a fantastic trip for the family. We barely left the property, as it had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and each other. I give this the highest recommendation possible.
