Summary:
Experience beauty inside and out at Alpine Pass. This modern cabin is part of Wilder's beautiful 40 acres and situated just 10 minutes from Hocking Hills State park. The property is nestled amongst the trees of our private woods, which is lined with hiking trails. It features a hot tub, indoor wood burning stove, king bed, coffee and tea bar, and selection of board games. Come unwind, disconnect from distractions, and reconnect to what matters in the stillness and beauty of the wilderness.

The Space:
Step into cozy luxury in this 540 sq foot modern cabin that contains a bedroom with a king bed and room darkening blinds, full bathroom with shower and bathtub, and an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen space. The living room has a wood burning free standing stove. Large windows in the living room and bedroom look out onto a private deck, hot tub, fire pit, and of course, the tranquil woods of Wilder.

Alpine Pass was designed by Wilder owner Shannon and was inspired by trips to the Rocky Mountains. We brought the beauty of the outside in at Alpine Pass with moody greens, rust-orange accents, and lots of wood!

Guest Access:
Entire cabin, deck, hot tub, and private fire pit. 40 acres with trails shared with the rest of the Wilder collection of 10 cabins.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled on 40 acres in the rolling hills of Vinton County, OH, Wilder is close to it all while appearing to be a thousand miles away.

On the property you'll find parking for your car (one per reservation), plenty of space to hike along the property trails, relax while roasting s'mores, and forest bathe in a hot tub while listening to the sounds of nature and star gazing.

Off the property you'll find that Wilder is perfectly situated only 10-15 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park, Logan, Lake Hope, and Zaleski State Forest. Within these areas you'll find ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors hiking, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, bird watching, horse back trail riding, ATVing, zip lining, and more! It's a nature-lover's paradise and all located within a short drive of Wilder.

Other Things to Note:
We are in the process of getting Wi-Fi extended to all cabins. We anticipate this may be done by Summer 2024.
We have limited cell reception. All carriers do receive signal at the ridge along the main path in our property, where this cabin is located. Most guests are able to receive calls and texts while inside this cabin!

There is a charcoal grill on the deck, which you will need to bring charcoal for. We have grill tools supplied in the kitchen. We also have a fire pit, and wood on site near parking for $10 a bundle. All proceeds go to the Boy Scouts who supply our wood.

Interaction with Guests:
Keyless entry with a unique code generated for each guest will be shared via text/email prior to your arrival.

Upon booking and again 3 days prior to your arrival you will receive a link to a digital guidebook with all of the information you'll need to have a great stay! PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO REVIEW IT! The digital guidebook will include information on the cabin, property, nearby areas of interest, fun activities, and other helpful tips.
