Guys fishing weekend

Had a great time back yard was used quite a bit with the fence we were out of wind and got to relax when we could not be on water.

Navy Bootcamp Grad Trip

Overall this place was perfect. It had everything we needed for our stay and it allowed for our family support dog to stay as well. There was an issue with the TV that was inconvenient, and we managed for a while, before it continued to malfunction. Communication was great with host. We did not know there was a sofa bed until after we got there and there is a pretty awesome jetted tub and shower that also are not listed! The dryer did not get hot so we left a note on a suggested part (my husband did HVAC). The master was a pretty cramped, I hit my knee a few times and my ankle on the corner of the bed(ouch) but otherwise a comfortable sleep. It was a little farther than i thought from the base, but the neighborhood was clean and quiet with nice neighbors. Overall it was a pleasant stay!

Overall okay!

The home is very cute, nice location, and overall was fine for what we needed. We were in town for a wedding and needed a dog friendly place where he could hang while we were gone, and basically just a place to crash. The host was very responsive and let us check in early which was so helpful. The fenced in yard was great! But, it wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. The tub had bugs in it and was definitely dirty. Thankfully we didn’t need to use it but if we had, I would’ve had to clean it myself first. There are also several mold spots in corners and on the ceiling in a couple rooms. Wi-Fi also did not work. The info provided at the house was just a password, no network, but we tried all the available ones with no luck. I contacted the host and she tried to help but still nothing worked. It wasn’t a big deal for us but may be for others. Overall it was a fine stay though and was all we needed!

Unsanitary, dirty, host ignores your concerns and overall a big disappointment

Upon our arrival, there was a very strong musty smell that hit us as soon as we walked in the door. I was concerned about mold, as this is what is smelled like. Upon further walk through, it was clear that the description of the home was not what was advertised - which the host has now updated the bed sizes and there is NO free internet/wifi. In addition, there were bugs in the bathtub. I then reached out to the host, where she told me that she supervised the cleaning crew and they even cleaned the ceiling fans. Upon this message we checked the ceiling fans, every one of them had inches of dust, clearly not cleaned in months, possibly longer. There was also dust and garbage under the bed, the dresser drawers were dirty and not usable, the kitchen cupboards were gross and would require cleaning in order to store any food in the cupboards. There were stains on the bedroom throw rugs, overall it was unsanitary and dirty. I had to clean the bathroom, just for us to use the toilet, thankfully I brought Clorox cleaning items with me. We were so distraught the first few hours, with no resolution from the host - she then just ignored me, after she asked if I wanted her to 'come clean a fan'. Due to the unsanitary conditions we did not feel comfortable there, however had no where to go, as it was later in the evening. I got out our blankets to use and sprayed each room with Lysol. I would not recommend this home to anyone, unless you like to live in filth.

Comfy but needs some TLC

Overall this Vrbo does its job as a place to sleep during a weekend trip however, it leaves a lot to be desired. It felt like we were staying at a blind grandmas house instead of an expensive rental house. The house needs some major TLC and maybe a better cleaning person. There were dirty counters, black sticky things on the windowsill in one of the bedrooms and on bed frame in the master bedroom. The bathroom didn’t seem like it had been cleaned, there was hair in the shower, toothpaste splattered all over and dusty/spiderwebs on the ceiling, door frame and etc.. We also killed a handful of bugs and cleaned them off the bathroom counter and out of the shower. In general I felt like the house was dirty and cheap, lacking in a relaxing feel. It was dingy and could use some major maintenance. The wood to the back porch is rotten, the outside of the house has melted siding, there was round up sitting out in the middle of the little back step and it really could use a fresh coat of paint in many places. The lights in the livingroom were not working either, so we had to sit in the dark in the evenings. The couch, chairs & beds are all very uncomfortable and there is an extremely strong perfume smell on all the bedding.
