Lovely Vacation Home

The house is very nicely laid out and well maintained. It comfortably fit our family. The hosts were very responsive and provided welcome snacks, beach towels and a lot of other nice amenities. We will definitely return!

Fantastic!

Enjoyed our stay for a long ski weekend. Host was very responsive to my questions and the gift basket was a nice surprise! Very clean home and spacious. Would definitely rent again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in Harbor Springs for a wedding at the Birchwood Country Club, so the location was extremely convenient. The house is also close to downtown HS, and is a great starting point for other MI destinations. Very clean and we had everything we needed.

Fall getaway

Beautiful home with everything you could need. Home is spotless and host left a very nice treat basket for us when we arrived. Setting is peaceful and close to both Petoskey and Harbor Springs.

Lovely home!

Perfect for 2 families - upper and lower level set up identically (2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room) This gave us privacy when needed and hang together when we wanted.

Peaceful vacation

Great property, our family had a very nice time. Thanks to the owners for the nice goodie basket. Stocked with just about everything you could need. One thing for others looking at the property to be aware of that wasn't clear to me until I got there, there is room for 2 cars pretty comfortably in the driveway. You could probably squeeze more but you'd likely have to start shuffllng cars around to get in and out. Pretty steep driveway up to a flat pad, so if you're going up in winter just be aware of this. Also probably not relevant to too many people, but if you're trying to take an electric vehicle up you won't be able to reach the home with a standard charger, however there is a charging station about 10 minutes away in downtown harbor springs. Anyway, the home itself was awesome. We could see deer from the property and it is very tranquil, you don't hear much other than the sounds of nature. The roads are nice to go on walks, we walked about 2 miles to get to a beautiful outlook over lake Michigan. Would definitely come back again to visit.

Peaceful and Quiet

We enjoyed the beautiful Careyover Guest House. It was very clean and had all the kitchen and bath essentials. Two large family room areas for the family to spread out. We will definitely stay again for future ski trips with our family.

Amazing!

We loved our stay!!! The house was incredibly clean and recently renovated, everything was brand new! The nice details the owners had was something unexpected and very nice like leaving fruit inside of the fridge and a basket with snacks and a nice welcoming card. We went to spend the weekend to see the fall colors and the house is in the middle of the woods in a nice subdivision with golf court , so we loved the experience. The location is great! Is very closed to the túnel of trees, We also went to Mackinac island, Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Boyne. Everything was beautiful and full of beautiful colors. We would love to stayed more! Was a great experience! Would love to come back.

Wonderful!

Great house and location! Not only is it a beautiful house, it is definitely the most equipped rental I’ve ever stayed in. They even left a cute basket of snacks for us! Will definitely stay again!

comfortable and peaceful

We had a girl's weekend with my mom and 3 sisters and had such a great time! The house is beautiful and comfortable and the location is really peaceful. We plan to go back next year!

Perfection!

Lovely home with all the amenities you could want. No detail was overlooked. Comfortable, well maintained, with plenty of room for large groups. Highly recommend.
