Access to a large waterfront wharf (extremely rare). Perfect for a women's retreat. Able to see the start of Iron Man from this location.

Filled with potential and creative listing photography but definitely a work in progress
This will no doubt be a wonderful place to stay in a few years if the owner continues working on it, but it is in rough condition at the moment. The photos reflect modern, attractive furniture, and that is accurate, but the kitchen is extremely dated, and was dirty and lacking in clean sponges and dishwasher detergent. There was still garbage in the pantry trash can and food in the refrigerator when we arrived. The exterior was more concerning to our group - the house is leaning, and the retaining walls have nails protruding out of them, as do the decks and raised garden beds. Two of the floating docks were half sunk and filled with debris. The railings on the decks of the home and by the water are not to code and weak - I worried that too much pressure would cause the top rails to give away. There are serious safety issues with the exterior of this home, if you are planning to enjoy it (which was the purpose of our rental), that are especially challenging for children and mobility challenged guests. Also, the check in process was nonexistent - we arrived to an unlocked home and found a single unmarked key on the kitchen counter, which gave all of us pause from a security standpoint. We were very disappointed.

Getaway with my friends from Missoula
We booked this home as a halfway point between me and my best friends from Missoula for an overnight stay. We absolutely loved the floor plan!! It was so cozy and the view was the best part. We sat outside in the morning and it was so warm and beautiful! Everyone really enjoyed our trip. I couldn’t have booked a better place for a getaway.

Views for Days
John has done some beautiful work on this property that has views for days. It was comfortable and cozy. Note that he is working to get the wood burning stove as the fireplace replaced / fixed. That was a slight bummer not to be able to warm up by a cozy fire during our chilly visit. When that is fixed and a crackling fire is pale with those views…you can’t go wrong.
Also, know that the drive in will be a bit of a challenge to get turned around to get back out. But, maybe typical for areas around the water access homes as we had DoorDash delivery for one meal and the local acted like it was no issue at all. Would definitely come back again and John was super easy to work and plan with.
