The Hog Pen is 7 minutes away from Dickson St and just a 5 minute drive to Donald W. Razorback Football Stadium & Bud Walton Basketball Arena. A newly constructed and carefully designed space for you and your family and friends to gather in the heart of Fayetteville. Whether you are visiting your kids that attend the U of A or in town for a sporting event (walking distance to Baum Walker), or a graduation, we are a stones throw away from any event you are in town for. You can enjoy a nice bike ride or walk in the greenway that is just east of the property, or get your exercise in walking around the Fayetteville farmers market on a Saturday morning. The things to do are endless!

Perfect for Hogs baseball

We had an excellent 3-night stay while visiting for a Razorback baseball series at Baum Walker. It was very clean, well stocked, and the property manager was proactive in communicating. I would definitely stay again and will recommend to others!

Wonderful weekend at the hog pen

We have stayed at a lot of VRBO in Fayetteville over the last 20 years and I will say this one is immaculate. Very up-to-date has all the amenities anyone could need close to everything. We look forward to our next stay for the LSU game!

Freshman move in trip

We stayed here while moving in our freshman from Chattanooga TN to his dorm. The place was perfect! The owner was great! Location easy access to the U and everything, we loved it wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Jennifer N.

University of Arkansas Orientation

We absolutely loved the space. It is adorable and comfortable with everything we needed to relax and feel at home. Hannah was great communicating with us, letting us know how to check in, etc. We will definitely visit again.

Incredibly clean and convenient

Extremely clean and very well appointed. Included all the little conveniences (coffee, sugar, dishwasher pods, extra blankets, lots of dishes, outlets and usb ports) that are so annoying when they are missing. The location is excellent: it's a very short drive to U of A, but the area is much quieter (all the residents definitely observed the posted quiet hours at night) and there are TWO dedicated parking spots. The one drawback might be if you are a light sleeper as you can hear a train maybe once a night. Photos are accurate. Bedrooms are small but very comfortable with large closets. Our small dog loved it and there was ample room to walk her around outside. 5 stars -- would absolutely stay there again.

Conniving Host

The hosts are a husband and wife and the husband talks to you like he understands but will tell you repeatedly that he is only the maintenance guy and then goes home and tells his wife that issues you are having with the unit is user error. We tried to call to speak with Hannah and she refused our phone calls and would only communicate through message and it was slow responses. The unit is a two floor open unit with no division between the two floors so it is extremely difficult to maintain a consistent temperature between the two floors. We were there December and the bottom floor was in the low 60s and the top floor was in the high 70’s. We asked for a refund because the unit was unbearable to stay in and Hannah said that she couldn’t give us a refund because there was nothing wrong with the heating even though we explained all of that to her several times. Their solution was to turn the heating unit up 2 degrees which made no difference and also they told us to keep the downstairs bathroom door open, which it was open the whole time we were there. Also, there is only 2 parking spaces and we went there for family and needed to have at least three parking spaces and her solution was to park across a main road at some business and the unit is behind another set of units that are closer to that main road and again we were there in December and nowhere in the description does it state there are only two parking spaces. These hosts are not caring and won’t work with you.

The Hog Pen is family owned and operated! We are a husband and wife with one baby boy! We love being able to host guests in one of our favorite cities. Not originally from here, but we moved to the area in 2020 because we simply fell in love with the atmosphere Fayetteville has to offer.
