Enjoy this historic 1930s mud adobe home that has been fully remodeled inside and out! From crystal door knobs to a pull-chain toilet, historic touches abound in this central Tucson bungalo. 3 rooms with queen beds and 1 room with 4 twin beds.
Located minutes from UofA, Reid Park Zoo, golf, tennis, hospital, restaurants, Whole Foods, and the Tucson Botanical Gardens.

Great place.

Convenient location. VERY clean and well equipped. Nice big fenced in yard for dog. We will definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised!

An older home in an established neighborhood had everything we needed without overdone embellishments. Bathrooms and kitchen had been remodeled. We would be happy to stay here again!

Great home

The home was just like it looks in the pictures. We loved the home and the open feel. The kitchen is large and has all you need. The bedrooms were roomy and clean. The only thing that could be better and more comfortable is the living room furniture. The host was responsive to our questions. We would stay here again.

Total package

This host payed attention to detail. From the smores kit, excellent coffee/tea options, to the fun hay bail and lasso in the backyard. My family really enjoyed the stay.

Spacious, Clean and Comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is more spacious than expected, and the beds are comfortable. We like to cook in on vacation, and the kitchen was well stocked and convenient. The house had easy parking and a good back porch. Would stay here again.

Cozy

Charlie is a wonderful host, we used this house to celebrate my birthday, he is very thoughtful about hosting his guest, everything was clean, safe for kids and elders. Would book this house again.

Truly the Bee's Knees!

This place was great! Plenty of beds, clean, fun decor, and the host could not have been kinder or more thoughtful. I would definitely recommend it without any reservations.

Fabulous Find

The home was bright and cheerful and had small, exciting little gifts around every turn. The location was easy to get to and from. Very accessible to the restaurants and soccer fields. The home was quiet and comfortable. The remodel was done with an appreciation of the past and made it a fun place to rest and relax on our trip.

A Lovely Stay in an Historic Tucson Home

The large "Bees Knees" home is in the Palo Verde neighborhood near a lot of restaurants, shopping, etc. It's been completely renovated with new plumbing and electric but the 1930's charm remains. Our host, Charlie, was very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable. The large home can easily accommodate a family, with four bedrooms, one of which has bunk beds ideal for younger children. The kitchen is wonderful with gas stove, microwave and large refrigerator, featuring ice maker and water dispenser. The large TV in the living was so easy to use using Roku or your own streaming services. I would recommend this home when coming Tucson.

I lived in this neighborhood for 10 years! it is close to the University of Az, Botanical Gardens, Whole Foods, and many restaurants, but has a "rental" feel, as there are apartments to the north and south.
