The Space:
Nestled in a quiet area amongst the pines with the golf course running behind the home, the open and social downstairs provides the perfect space for staying connected to your group, with a large wrap-around deck offering an additional area for your group to spread out and enjoy the Tahoe nature. Four comfortable & dynamic bedrooms, including a unique mother-in-law-style space, are spread out across two levels for added comfort & privacy. Your ultimate mountain retreat awaits!
Step inside and be greeted by a welcoming space featuring exposed wood beams and wood panel ceilings, bright windows framing the views over the trees, and charming mountain home decor. Directly to the right of the front door, the living room awaits where you will find 2 plush couches with deep cushions situated around a smart TV and an impressive rock hearth with a wood-burning fireplace. Large windows fill the room with natural light, creating a cozy ambiance that will make you feel right at home while you kick back and relax.
Adjacent to the living room is the fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, providing an open communal space for your group to gather. A kitchen bar with 2 bar stools and a 6-person dining table provides ample space for your group to gather and enjoy meals together. Surrounding the kitchen/dining area are large windows and a sliding glass door providing tree views all around, it will feel like you are dining out in nature!
Step out the sliding glass door from the dining room and enjoy year-round fun on the spacious wrap-around deck! A private hot tub awaits you on the deck, a dreamy spot to unwind while taking in the fresh mountain air. In the summer months, the deck is a great extending living space with built-in benches, a BBQ, and an outdoor dining table, so your group can spread out and enjoy the beautiful Tahoe nature.
When you are ready to tuck in for the evening, you will find four bedrooms spread out across two levels. On the main floor of the home are three bedrooms. The first bedroom is a cozy and dynamic space with a full-size bed, a plush chair with an ottoman, and access to the wrap-around deck. The room includes a large desk with a chair, perfect for those needing to keep up with any remote work needs. Located in the hallway across from the first bedroom is a jack-n-jill style bathroom with a spacious single-sink vanity and a separate room with the toilet and a bathtub/shower combo. Tucked down the hallway is the second bedroom, a private and quiet space filled with natural light and access to the deck via sliding glass doors. This bedroom is outfitted with a comfortable queen-size bed, a large dresser, and a walk-in closet. Adding to the comfort of the room is a plush oversized chair next to the windows, a great spot to curl up with a good book.
Situated at the back of the main level is a unique multipurpose space featuring a kitchenette, a cozy sitting area, and a loft with a bed! This area can be used as an extra hang-out space with an L-shaped 5-person couch situated around a smart TV and a kitchenette making it easy to whip up quick snacks while hanging out. A daybed is situated in the corner of the room for extra sleeping space, or to grab a quick nap. Head up the stairs to the loft, where you will find a queen bed ready for you to tuck in for the night. Three large skylights fill the room with natural light, and provide some memorable views of the stairs from the loft bed! Adding to the comfort of this dynamic room is a full bathroom with a shower.
Make your way up to the second floor of the home where 3 more beds await you! Upstairs you will first come to the loft where you will find 2 twin beds, a TV, and views overlooking the main living area. A spacious master bedroom is located on the other side of the upper floor, offering a peaceful retreat. This bedroom features a queen-size bed with matching nightstands, a dresser with a TV on top, and a sliding glass door that opens out to the upper balcony from which you can enjoy views over the surrounding alpines and the golf course. Adding to the comfort of the master bedroom is an en suite bathroom with a spacious double-sink vanity and a shower. The master bathroom can also be accessed from the hallway for shared use.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home, a deck and balcony, and a private hot tub. We also have horseshoe, stand-up paddle boards, and pickle ball paddles that guests can use.
Guests will also have access to two parking spots in the driveway in front of the home.
The Neighborhood:
If you are looking for an active vacation close to endless outdoor fun, you will love the area this home is in! Situated just a mile away from Northstar Resort, you can enjoy all the activities the resort has to offer, as well as year-round entertainment in the nearby Northstar Village. Or head to the recreation center where you will find 3 pools, spas, a huge gym, pickleball courts, and more, perfect for some family-friendly fun! In the winter time, hit the slopes at Northstar Resort, where you will find great ski terrain for all ability levels. In the summer months, Northstar becomes a hiker's paradise with tons of trails for all levels to explore, and a world-class mountain biking facility. Northstar is a great family-friendly option as well with an ice skating rink, a movie theater, shopping, dining, and more available in the Village to keep everyone in your group busy and entertained. Less than a mile from the home is Northstar Golf Course, a scenic course that the golfer in your group will love playing on. Just an 11-minute drive will take you to the town of Kings Beach where you can enjoy the white sand beaches of Lake Tahoe and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. 11 minutes in the other direction brings you to the historic town of Truckee where you will find river rafting, bike paths, boutique shopping, and a great nightlife scene.
Getting Around:
The home is located just a mile away from Northstar Ski Resort, where you will find on-site parking, as well as several shuttle bus options. The home is only a 2-minute ride on the FREE shuttle to Northstar Village and the recreation center. Guests can download the Northstar app and have easy access to the dial-a-ride shuttle. There are also daily routes to and from Kings Beach and Truckee with TART (Tahoe Area Rapid Transportation). To reach Kings Beach, guests make a mile walk to Northstar Village Gate #7 to take the Hwy 267 Truckee Depot to Crystal Bay station route, from which is around a 15-minute bus ride. For those looking to go to the historic town of Truckee, guests can take the same bus heading North and be at Truckee with a 20-minute bus ride.
There are several cab companies in the area as well as Uber and Lyft, however, Uber and Lyft can be seasonal and scarce at times.
Other Things to Note:
OUTSIDE - in WINTER - It is important to keep the driveway clear of sleds, toys, anything that might interfere with the snowplow, any time of day. Also, please respect the 8 ft guide poles the plow driver needs to do his job. Thank you.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• 50% of payment is due upfront and the rest of the payment is due (14) days before arrival.
• Booking Fee: We charge an additional, non-refundable fee of 2% of the total payment to cover the cost of booking processing.
• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.
