This freshly updated farm-style home has all the amenities and just minutes from hospitals and the medical district. You will be staying on the right side of our duplex which was JUST renovated top to bottom. You will enjoy a family room with HDTV, a sofa bed, and a pub-style table. The bedroom welcomes you with a queen bed, 2nd HDTV, closet, and dresser! The brand new kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher, stove, microwave, Kuerig coffee maker, and full-sized refrigerator. We also have a washer/dryer. All the comforts of home!

This was a a delightful temporary home that even included a front porch swing. Great neighborhood. Felt safe and welcome.

Sparse and in need of care

The property manager was very pleasant to work with and accommodating on a credit card matter that got cancelled mid booking. No concerns there. The property itself was challenging at best. The bathtub was old and creaky to the point you couldn’t shift your weight without making loud noises. The front door window was broken and had cardboard and duct tape over it. There is broken furniture in the living room. There is clear water damage on the floors in the bathroom. There has been no yard upkeep. The place has potential but needs even the slightest upkeep to be presentable. Was quite disappointed in the quality of the property. I know there is a master’s upcharge but this is the most I’ve paid at a property ever and I think the least liveable place I’ve stayed in.

Booked for one of my teachers for two weeks

My teacher expressed worry about water damage in the corner of a room, which could mean possible mold in the walls, according to him. He immediately left the property and checked into a hotel for the two week training in the area. The owner was very dismissive of our concern and said he's had so many stay at the property and there was no mold. He did not even try to understand our concern at the possibility and then stopped communicating after I presented him with pictures and asked to at least have the cleaning fee removed from our booking, since there would be nothing to clean. It has been almost two weeks since I have heard from him. Our request for any type of refund was ignored. VRBO said it was up to the owner. I would ask that the owner of this property at least provide evidence that he has had the property inspected for mold so that renters can have peace of mind. One of the damaged areas by a window is covered by a curtain in the pictures of the property.
