This property needs alot of TLC!
Rented this property for 5 nights. The positives of this rental - close proximity to the beach, the spaciousness of the home, lots of parking space and the AC worked well. Cons are many. Roaches and mosquitoes are thick outside on pool and all deck areas (also found roaches in the home) and good pest control is desperately needed. Home needs a really good deep clean- walls dirty, carpet filthy, bathrooms and kitchen have black mold by wet areas (fridge leaks) and the smell of mold is strong in the upstairs hall bathroom. Curtain rods and blinds broken. Furniture is worn, stained and ripped in seat cushion area. The fridge needed a new water filter per the fridge filter reminder (the water tastes bad that does come out of the fridge) and the fridge does not keep food decently cold. Also, the in the door ice maker only makes crushed ice sometimes - does not make any ice cubes at all. The kitchen was the least stocked kitchen I have ever used in a rental. All in all- this rental was not worth the hefty price that I paid for 5 nights! This property is currently for sale, and it clearly is sadly neglected, and it appears that no money is being put into the upkeep. I have rented many beach properties over the last 20+ years- and this is definitely one that was not worth the price I paid and was very disappointing.
