Nice Place, but Communication with Owner Difficult
We did not actually stay at the one in this listing, as we were moved to a nearby property due to it being under repair. The unit we were in was a bit more bare than I'm used to in a VRBO, but it served its purposes and the area was nice.
The part that was difficult was communicating with the owner. They didnt provide any sort of arrival instructions. Every other VRBO ive been in over the last 10+ years, ive always gotten a welcome email with very detailed instructions for arrival, accesing internet, rules of the home, etc. We received nothing and I had to reach out to the owner. His responses were scattered and confusing. I asked him to please communicate more clearly and in complete sentences, but he did not. I didnt even realize he wanted to move us to a new property until after we arrived at the original unit, because all he did was send me an address, out of the blue, with no context or instructions.
The unit was nice and I wouldnt mind staying again, but i would suggest the owner be a bit more organized and clear in the future. This is the first time ive had this type of experience with VRBO owners, so maybe they are just relatively new.
