Not worth it, stay at a resort
This stay was sadly not great. We were looking forward to it because the pictures looked great. However, when we got to the apartment we were received by a giant cockroach. Then , we proceeded to walk into a line of ants going from one bedroom into the kitchen. The kitchen had ants as well like inside the air fryer as it was poorly cleaned. I contacted the host about these issues and asked for pesticide and tried to resolve the issues but we never received any solutions for this , At first, the communication with the host was great but then it dwindled as we encountered multiple problems. In addition, I contacted VRBO customer support to see if we would be able to solve the through them, but even though they spoke to the host , nothing seemed to be actioned on. There were other problems too - such as lack of cleanliness , we found ashes in one of the decorations . And it just honestly seemed like one of those apartments that had never been fully completed - there was a half door inside the closet, no extra toilet rolls except the ones in the bathroom already, no shampoo, nothing that truly made the stay livable. We were also so paranoid of the ants and cockroaches that we barely ate inside the apartment and when we did, we literally stored the garbage inside the fridge and only threw it out when we were leaving. Lastly, the maps / google or Waze is consistently incorrect making Uber’s and deliveries hard to reach at the location.
