Caraleigh was built mostly in the early 1920s to house workers of the Caraleigh Textile Mill and Fertilizer Factory. This neighborhood has gone through various transitions throughout its 100 year history, but remains a desirable area for proximity to family friendly parks, Greenway Trail entrances, downtown Raleigh, and major highways such as I-40. Perfect location to stay for events at Redhat Ampitheater, Raleigh Convention Center, PNC Arena, NC State, and Research Triangle Park. Please note that this is a family friendly neighborhood. House is warming and very clean!

We enjoyed our stay! Check in process was smooth. Considering it’s in the city house has plenty of parking. House was very warming and very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Clean and Cozy

Beautifully updated and decorated. Warm and inviting space. Comfortable beds. Sparse kitchen supplies and a bit of residual traffic noise by virtue of location. Kind of pricey for just one night when host fees are added in but overall a lovely space.

Neighborhood, but near Downtown

This house was completely renovated inside, with multiple TVs, a large ,bright eat in kitchen, a wonderful master bath, and attractive hardwood floors. Sparkling clean, and a good fenced yard. Some traffic noise during the day. We wnjoyed our stay.

Family stay

Enjoyed a week stay at this place with our family. Spacious living room with comfortable seating for 5 adults. Nice size bedrooms. Large yard for the dogs and off street parking. Host easy to communicate with and responsive.

Comfortable & Clean

Exceptionally clean & super comfortable beds! A updated interior with an old time style exterior. After a long day exploring Raleigh & Cary we enjoyed unwinding & visiting in this comfortable home. Would stay again!

NC State Parents Weekend!

Great stay

We stayed here for almost 2 weeks for my husbands job. It was a great stay. Very clean property! House was very comfortable and clean. It has a fully fenced in back yard great for pets. I would gladly stay here again when we are in the area.

Decent but needs improvement

Overall, this house was as pictured, tidy, quiet, and easy to find. Host was friendly and the area seemed fairly safe. A few issues that could use improvement however: Upon check-in, the door code provided did not work. We tried calling the host twice, no answer. They eventually messaged us back with a different door code to try and that worked. Inside, the smart TV’s wouldn’t connect to the internet so we had to message the host again. We had to reset the router for any internet to work. One tv remote’s batteries were completely dead. Simple things like that would’ve just been nice to avoid, especially during a holiday weekend.The host described the kitchen as “having everything you could need.” That was not true at all. Example: one single oven mit, no strainer, no salt or pepper, very minimal pots and pans to choose from, not a single sharp knife. It was also disappointing to only be supplied with 2 rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. Overall, it just felt very bare bones. We did appreciate that each bedroom had a sound machine, beds were very comfortable, and the backyard is large. We hope this feedback allows the host to improve in other areas though, and this could be a true gem.
