Gayoso House & Pembroke Square are located in the heart of downtown's historic block of Memphis. In 1842 The Gayoso House was built as the first luxury hotel in Memphis. It had indoor plumbing, electricity, and all the newest luxuries. In 1890 Pembroke Square was formally Goldsmith's. Together they were renovated in 1994 as the Gayoso House & Pembroke Square Apartments. Gayoso House & Pembroke Square offer a Rooftop with an un-obstructed view of The Mississippi River, an exclusive 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour on-site security, 24-hour emergency maintenance staff, controlled access, and on-site laundry facilities.
