Summer Get Away
If you're looking for a getaway at a home away from home, then the Sleeping Bear Cabin is perfect for your every vacation need! We only stayed for a few days, and found ourselves wishing we had decided to stay for longer. It was an amazing stay!
When you first drive up to the property, you will be greeted by the sight of the cabin nestled between towering, green trees which almost seem to welcome you. The porch has many comfortable seating options so you can birdwatch, read, or even just relax to your heart's content among nature. The calming feel that permeates this cabin is what makes it perfect for relaxing any time of day or night.
The cabin itself is equally welcoming. It has all the amenities needed for a peaceful getaway: board games, plenty of comfortable seating, and even a fireplace for those colder nights! Out on the back deck, there is a grill set up if cooking homemade dinners for the family is your speed. There are also cornhole boards there for a friendly competition, a fire pit with cozy chairs, and space to sit and watch the local wildlife. Roasting marshmallows and enjoying the evening air with a warm fire seems like the perfect way to spend a night here under the stars!
Beyond the many amenities that Sleeping Bear itself offers, the cabin is located nearby a variety of fun activities for everyone. There are many wineries and breweries in the surrounding area, as well as plenty of great food and drinks available in nearby downtown Elijah.
We cannot recommend the Sleeping Bear Cabin enough, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. With so many fun amenities, there is plenty to do while also leaving plenty of time for a relaxing getaway. We can't wait to come back!
