Shot-gun cottage located one block from the beach!

This adorable shot-gun style cottage is walking distance to downtown, restaurants, Long Beach Harbor and Long Beach Yacht Club. It sits on a spacious lot with a barbecue area. The interior is modern and functional - complete with quaint kitchen, Queen sized bed, washer/dryer and ionic air conditioning. The house accommodates 2 adults and 2 and has a queen bed, as well a full-size sleeper couch and air mattress.

Reserve for 3 nights, a week or month stay and enjoy all the festivals & activities Long Beach and the Gulf coast has to offer. Your hosts can arrange fishing trips, bayou tours, clambake, golf cart/bicycle/motorbike rentals, trips to Ship Island, dinner reservations (we know the best ones), tours of the Mississippi Aquarium/museums/science centers, historic home tours, walking tours featuring local lore - whatever your interests, the Gulf Coast will not disappoint!

Cozy cottage

The cottage was perfect for my wife and I. Very clean and nicely decorated. Close to the beach, marina, and great food. It was a great after Christmas retreat.

Cute tiny home

Jusr as described & location was great! I would recommend for 1 or 2 people. The kitchen had everything needed & more. The location seems to have alot of traffic, but still a nice stay.

Great home, disappointed by the area business closures.

Outstanding cleanliness and a beautiful home. Would definitely return. Just perfect location. We researched the area really well, and wanted to visit so many places, but almost all were closed during our stay. Most businesses in this area are closed Sunday-Wednesday. This is not a knock on this VRBO, but instead on the general area. Would never have come there if we'd known most restaurants were closed. Websites didn't reflect current times they were open.

Excellent vacation Rental

When we arrived everything was as mention online, the home was clean, comfortable and convenient. The location was close to the beach and restaurants. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Very comfortable for two people, had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.we will be back.

Shot-Gun Cottage Space Thoughtfully Set Up

This location was as advertised. While the inside is small, it is set up to make the most of the small space. There are drawers in the bedroom to put your clothes and kitchen cabinet space to store your food. They have a Keurig and a kettle. The stove/refrigerator were not full-sized, but it was not an issue for us. There is a fold down table you can use for meals, as there is no room for an eating area. We sat on the couch and had brought a plastic bin with us, which we used for our table. The cottage was fully stocked, with thoughtful items you might normally not see in a rental (beach towels, K-cups of different kinds, plenty of toilet paper, tissues, candles to use, saran wrap, aluminum foil to name a few). It is about a 7-minute walk to the beach. There is a small shed on the property where we could store our bikes (we used our lock for the shed doors). The property manager was responsive. She reached out upon arrival and answered our questions promptly. We happened to be there for the Long Beach Mardi Gras parade, which went right by our cottage, an added bonus! The units for the heat/air conditioning are right behind the bedroom wall. If you are a light sleeper, it could bother you as they are not always at a constant noise. My husband wore ear plugs some nights. The house is several blocks from the freight train tracks but that was not an issue from a sleeping/noise perspective. If you are good with a tiny house, I would recommend this one!
