Gorgeous view of the ocean just steps away-- this quaint beach bungalow has a full kitchen and laundry. Perfect for couples. Sleeps 4 comfortably Full size double bunk, queen bed and sleeper sofa. Beach cart, chairs, and umbrella available. Dedicated work space with desk and office chair. LGBTQ friendly. THE POOL IS NOT INCLUDED. Must be 25 to rent. No children under 8 unless preapproved by owner. Renter must be present. The cottage is centrally located and just a few blocks from aquarium, Jones Park, downtown Gpt. 2 miles to Centennial Plaza. Private entrance, designated parking, private fenced patio and deck with ocean view! We are less than a block away from city park with swings, playground, basketball courts, and a tennis court. No pets unless preauthorized by owner. Do not enagage the garage door hurricane bolts! these are for hurricane protection only! We loved the surf shack!! The surf shack is more than a home away from home, the artistry and attention to details are remarkable. There were so many “extras” that I can’t even list them all! The surf shack is well supplied with just about anything you might have forgotten to bring to your home away from home in Gulfport! Heather was super quick to respond. Check in and check out were easy peasy! We enjoyed our visit and hope to go back soon.

The rental looks like the photos we’d seen before booking exactly what we expected. Plenty of rom for the 2 of us. The beech was a few minutes of a walk. It was very peaceful during our stay. I’d recommend this

Perfection

The Surf Shack beach cottage really was the nicest VRBO property we’ve ever stayed at (and we’ve never been disappointed with the rentals). It was perfect - cozy, comfortable, super close to the beach. The decor was funky, cool, beachy, artistic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A Perfect Hideaway to Recharge

The Surf Shack was a perfect nest for my son and I. Stunning interiors—dream kitchen for any chef—every cooking gadget and appliance you can imagine—and soft, snuggly blankets to wrap yourself in to watch the gorgeous sunset. Thoughtful details throughout the property;paradise!

great place to stay to visit the coast from new orleans to gulf shores.

First off let me say how well stocked this place was. We brought most things we needed but this place had everything from toothpaste to snacks. the decor was beautiful beach decor and space was utilized perfect. we visited 6 beaches on this trip. 1) bay st louis 2) ship island 3

Cool Little Shack!

Feel like I should quote the B-52s! This is a really neat guest house behind a main house, very close to the beach. It was beautifully apportioned, and also had lots of simple amenities (like coffee pods and soda). We only stayed a night, but would return!

Little Surf Shack is a Whole Lot of Fun!

This was one of the best beach stays I have ever had! The property was very attractive, and well furnished. It has an artsy bohemian quality that makes it feel like you’re on vacation. The location of the property is awesome, with the beach maybe 60 yards away, and downtown Gulfport only a couple of blocks away. The view from the sitting area at the front of the house was spectacular. Communication with the owners was prompt and friendly. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Surf shack

Property was clean, close to the ocean and very well stocked. It was nice to be able to open the garage door, lay on the couch and watch the ocean. Walking distance to shaggys, salute Italian restaurant, coffee shop and aquarium. We will definitely book again when in the area. We have stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this place had the most stocked kitchen, gadgets and cookware of any.
