Enjoy our newly renovated, bright-boho retreat, located close to Armory Square and many Syracuse destinations (like SU, the Fairgrounds, and the Amphitheater)! This first-floor apartment features 5 beds, bathtub/shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a small playroom for the kiddos - plenty of room for a group traveling together or a family with small children looking to rest and recharge in a clean and comfortable environment!

Our apartment is in the center of it all! Less than a 5 minute drive (< 30 minute walk if you're looking to get your steps in!) to:

The property is not in a good part of town. We were watched in the neighborhood and didn’t feel like we could leave our car outside without issues of being vandalized. The apartment was adorable..

Wedding

The house was very spacious and accommodated is very nicely. The hosts were excellent. Would have been helpful to have a second bathroom but we took turns efficiently. The large kitchen and living room gave us great gathering spots.

Hi! Sam and Julie here, your hosts! We are both college professors who love to travel and use both VRBO and AIRBNB everywhere we go! We started hosting back in 2015 and loved meeting new people. Since then, we have acquired new property and enjoy providing super clean, comfortable, and affordable accommodations to visitors!

This apartment is located on the Westside of the city of Syracuse, right down the street from where Julie's mom grew up! Syracuse is a very diverse city and the Westside tends to have a large Hispanic population. The best thing about this apartment is how centrally located it is to everything - Armory Square, Downtown, the NYS fairgrounds, the Amphitheater, the Zoo, the Destiny USA mall, Onondaga Lake, and so on!

This apartment is one of three apartments in a large multifamily corner lot that use to be home to the Lukaczyk family in the 1950s. The Lukaczyk's lived in the downstairs apartment and ran a small store on the corner - called "Sam's Grocery and Meats". Many of the older neighbors remember going to the store as children to buy candy for a penny! One of the main contractors who helped us bring this building back to life actually played marbles as a child near the entrance of the store and remembers the old Lukaczyk lady yelling at them to move away!
