Christmas in Gilbert
The home is very nice. Kitchen has a nice round table which was nice for our gatherings, as well as the big sectional and TV in the living room. The Christmas tree was great since we were celebrating Christmas so we had a tree to put gifts under! The beds are comfortable. We were welcomed with the sprinkler system spraying onto the driveway, so had to park on the opposite side (under the tree with all the bird droppings). This was an every day occurrence. The hot tub functioned well. Back yard is nice. Patio furniture was minimal and no extra chairs for outdoor sitting. Neighbor's dog barks during day. The kitchen was extremely minimal, which was frustrating, since we were hosting family for the holiday (no glass serving bowls).No ice maker. We had to go out and buy things since the house is not equipped for entertaining. The floors looked clean, but left black on the bottom of our feet (perhaps need more than a sweep). There was a broom in the garage, but other than that, we couldn't find any floor cleaning mops. The cleaning crew did not refill TP and soap, but we reached out to management and was quickly taken care of, as well as the scratched up fry pans and large kettle (they replaced with mediocre ones). We expected a little more out of the kitchen and backyard (for the price), but we made do and had a great time.Don't let this scare you away....but just know what's in store if you are going to stay here. Coffee maker only serves 4-5 cups. Maybe a new rental!?
