Perfectly located old house showing its age
Location was ideal for us and overall met our needs. Could be really awesome with some improvements to the property. Recommend repainting walls with holes filled rather than simply painted over. Floors obviously fairly new with wood planks in good condition but poorly installed as it sunk down and made cracking sound with every step. Feels unstable and some folks with poor mobility could be at risk of falls. Some electrical outlets did not work and light switches were confusing in places - easy fix. Recommend marking a surprise step up so that those new to the house would be alerted and avoid injury. We did have an elderly relative visit us and he did not see the step up and did trip and fall. Fortunately, his only injury was broken skin but could have been worse. Do appreciate that we found a first aid kit in a closet that included skin cleanser, antibiotic cream and bandages. Definite bonus points for that. Our dog totally enjoyed the yard and broke out into zoomies every time she was allowed out. Thank you for the secure fence. Dishes provided were not microwave safe with a metallic band on each piece. Water/ice component of fridge did not work and appears to have not worked for sometime. Otherwise, kitchen well stocked. Very much appreciated plenty of comfortable furniture both inside and outside the house so that we could sit and visit with family comfortably. Would recommend for location, space, yard, comfortable furnishings, roomy bathrooms/showers.
