Massive and loud construction next door
This condo is in a beautiful spot on the beach but our experience was greatly affected by the massive condo that is being built right next door. The work started early in the morning and continued Monday through Saturday - we could not sit on our balcony due to the noise, and the position of the new condo obstructed the sunset. If we had known about the construction we would not have booked here. Add to this, the building we were in had water problems, leading to the majority of one day where our water was turned off without warning, and there was additional (very loud) drilling within our own building. These were disappointments. Further, shortly after we booked our trip, we were informed that the owner had mistakenly left out a tax component, so we owed further payment in order to secure our booking. In other words, the fee for this property was not listed accurately. These details aside, the staff were lovely and very helpful, and the beach, snorkelling and Somewhere Cafe were wonderful.
