The Queen's Gambit - 3BR/2BA - Central and Quiet

Come stay at this fully updated and modern 3-bedroom 2 bath home in a well-established and safe central Lubbock neighborhood. A quick 7-minute drive will get you to Tech campus or to several restaurants and shopping boutiques. This house features all new furniture appliances, fast Wi-Fi, a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, and the best mattresses. The backyard is perfect for relaxing Lubbock nights and the garage allows for easy and safe parking.

This home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 full-size bathrooms. The first bedroom has one queen sized bed. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, and third bedroom has two queen beds. Each room comes with super comfortable new mattresses sheets and pillows. You will love sleeping here. Each room also offers dressers/luggage tables/desk bedside tables and lamps.

Each of the two bathrooms have all the towels hand towels and wash cloths that you will need for your stay. One bathroom has a tub shower combo, and the master bathroom has a walk-in shower. Shampoo. body wash, a hair dryer, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and hand soap are included in each bathroom

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you will need for your stay including a microwave stove and oven pots and pans cooking utensils and a drip coffee maker with ground coffee. A dining room area sits just outside the kitchen for home cooked meals or easy take out. This dining area is the perfect place for family game night or a large work project. The free washer/ dryer units are also located in the kitchen for guest convenience.

The large living room has a super comfortable sectional to lounge or sleep on and the 65-inch Roku enabled TV will be sure to keep you entertained. Netflix is already setup on the TV for your viewing pleasure. We do not offer cable, but it is super easy to login with your own provider.

This property is not pet friendly so please leave your furry friends at home. No exceptions will be made for this as the owner has terrible allergies.

All areas of the house are available to guests with the exception of any locked cleaning closets.

Our interaction with guests is very minimal. The front door has a keypad so that you may let yourselves in and out. Once you have booked, please refer to the check-in instructions for entry codes that are sent out 3 days before your stay. Please only use the keypad lock to lock the door. Do not lock the bottom lock on the front door. We pride ourselves on our quick responses. Let us know if you're looking for restaurant recommendations or something to do!

Shawna, Meaghan, and Jenna are your local hosts. We are available by phone, text, or Airbnb message whenever needed. Unless it's an emergency please try to limit late night phone calls or texts. We are happy to assist guests whenever needed but we do have our own families that we take care of as well. If you need anything, just reach out.

The Queen's Gambit is located in the Maedgan neighborhood which is very convenient to restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, banks, churches. One of our local grocery stores. Located close to everything. Main roads Slide and 50th Street are nearby, as well as the Marsha Sharp Freeway and the loop. Quick access to everything Lubbock has to offer! If you need any restaurant, shopping or nightlife recommendations feel free to contact us!

Other than Uber, Lubbock has poor transportation options, so it is recommended that you have a vehicle. Depending on your plans, you may be able to get by without a vehicle - let us know and we can help you decide! Parking is easy to come by in the neighborhood and most areas in Lubbock.
