Total nature retreat
This is a great little cabin and was the perfect size for myself and two kids. Very clean, attractive and well-appointed. Have your log in info for the Amazon Firestick handy as there’s one available for streaming. The check in process is standard, the check out process is refreshingly simple and is one that DOES NOT have you almost scrubbing toilets before you leave just a tidy up and leave. Our host has thoughtfully communicated with me and was quick to respond to a couple of questions I had. The river is literally at the bottom of the drive and you can hear the water at the house charming. The riverbank is gravel and sand, plenty big enough to comfortably hang out on and the water is clear and cold. We saw exactly two other vehicles during our stay one was a local friend coming to visit us, the other was trash pick-up. So this is a very peaceful location. I didn’t hear anything other than the river and birds the entire time. Local dining highlight is Skylark Cafe in Leslie top-notch food and service. Overall a great couple of days!
