This charming 2-bedroom log cabin on crystal clear Horse Shoe Lake just outside of Turtle Lake is a superb choice for guests looking to unwind and relax. With two spacious living rooms featuring a queen bed and a twin bed, this awesome property offers a comfortable retreat that sleeps 7. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, heating, AC, and more during your stay. Guests will enjoy swimming, great fishing, and paddling around the crystal clear lake. Sit by the fire and roast marshmallows in the evening and enjoy coffee in the morning on the dock bench or porch. Lots of recreation around the area and minutes from the St. Croix Casino. Just an hour away from the Twin Cities metro area, and a great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay.

Cozy cabin on a beautiful lake. The cabin has everything you need and more. Very well maintained with views of the lake, listen to the loons and watch the eagles soar. A great Wisconsin get-away!

Beautiful lakefront stay

We enjoyed our time here so much. The location is beautiful and it was easy to get to stores or restaurants. Julia was helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. I will definitely be back.

Such a great family spot! The cabin was set up well, with plenty of spaces to hang out and views of the lake. The property worked great for our family - perfect for swimming and spending our days on the water. Julia was super responsive, great communication. Highly recommend!

Check in was great. Door sticks a little but once we figured that out it was fine. No big deal. Place was clean, well appointed and the beach was really nice.

We had so much fun staying at this cabin. There was plenty of things to do right there but also a lot of things within short driving distance. We loved being able to bring our dogs who had so much fun as well. It was such a peaceful getaway but still had access to WiFi and air conditioning. We enjoyed kayaking, campfires, smores, fishing and swimming. My only complaint is that the vacation wasn’t long enough! Would definetly love to stay here again!

Wonderful, loved the place, the lake was beautiful, it was very clean, beautiful flowers and hostas, life jackets, canoe all available. Entertained by people on the lake. It was a piece of heaven. All the comforts of home

Nice lake getaway from the cities

Cute property on a beautiful lake. My husband & I had 3 nights while our children were at camp so we stay here. We loved canoeing with our dog on the lake and seeing two loon families. The host was readily available for anything we needed. Cabin is clean & cute with two different living spaces in case you need some separation from family members, with lower level looking over the lake. There is a simple dock with a nice bench seat at the end where you can watch the lake/sunrise/sunset. We went for daily walks and found friendly neighbors with variable traffic on the road. The two bedrooms are small but adequate. If you come towards the end of June there is a fresh strawberry patch where you can buy fresh strawberries that are delicious. The coffee barn in Turtle Lake was a nearby spot we enjoyed for good coffee & breakfast treats as well. This was a nice spot for a little retreat. :)

My husband and I are educators in the Cumberland/Turtle Lake area and love hosting at our family's cabin. We enjoy fishing, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with our children, family and friends at the lake.

This cabin has been in our family for over 40 years and we love the lake and surrounding area. The lake is very clean, even in the late summer and the area is very peaceful. There are lots of things to do close by like hiking, biking, visiting great restaurants with live music.

Our cabin is warm and inviting as it is a full log cabin with a beautiful hand-made fireplace. Our porch is very close to the lake front and the lake entry is very shallow at our shoreline making it great for kids to swim.
