This elegant apartment is located near the center of Otranto, a town famous for its cathedral and its magnificent castle, on the first floor of a villa, and can accommodate up to 6 people. The apartment, suitable for children, consists of a Mediterranean-style living room with sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub. Air conditioning, washing machine and TV are included in the price. Outside you will find a balcony with a magnificent view of the city streets and the sea, the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the open air. Shops are 400 m away, while restaurants, bars and clubs are within 200 m. The castle and the cathedral are 1 km away and the Scaloni beach is a 3-minute walk away.

A bed can be added on request.
Parking spaces are available on the property.

Good apartment in a very beautiful place

Good place to stay. Beach and city center is close. Kitchen could be better equipped. But covered minimum needs. No Wi-Fi which is reflected in amenities description. But we missed it.

Underwhelming

Based on the photos in the listing we thought this would be an outstanding property with sea views and well presented. On the positive side, the property is a short walk of about 300m to the public beach and about 500m to a cafe/bar and a few restaurants. The main entertainment district starts about 10 minutes walk and old town is about 15-20 minutes. Very accessible. If you’re wanting a large apartment with large bedrooms this suits. Also has off street parking. The agent was also attentive and helpful. However what didn’t impress was the view from the balcony now has vegetation in the way that could be pruned. The gardens are unkept with weeds throughout. The curtain were dusty and did not cover the windows adequately. The mattress memory foam no longer remembers and has no support. There are hand written notes on the common property walls indicating theft might be a problem. The entry door of the apartment had damage from what appeared a forced entry. The frame was missing sections and the lock handle almost comes off in the hand. The balcony doors are very thin and they rattle with the slightest of vibration such as a parked car door closing. The lock also did not line up. Water pressure in the shower was non existent and only came sporadically. Hot water also took some time to come through. While we had a parking space outdoor, the underneath garage parking area was not allowed entry. It appeared from the internal staircase to have contents laying about.
