We live in Los Angeles but love the mountains and the change of scenery. We purchased this property as a 2nd home/rental property because we wanted our children to experience the mountains, skiing, rivers, lakes, and more. We hope to retire in Park City someday, so we renovated our house and furnished it to live in, not as a rental. It is unique in that respect. Very personal and warm. Scott is a painter, so you may see his work around the house or in the mud room, which doubles at times as his art studio.

We originally looked in Deer Valley but love Old Town and wanted our children to have some freedom. The ability to easily walk to the lift is a huge perk. So nice for guests and our kids to move at their own pace enabling them to meet up on the mountain at any time. While we all enjoy skiing/snowboarding, our favorite thing to do is to walk to Main Street for lunch or dinner. Especially in the snow! And, it's so nice to avoid the hassle of finding a parking spot or watching what we drink. Unlike Deer Valley, you won't get snowed in because you can walk everywhere. Steps from the town lift of Park City Mountain, we are located between Deer Valley Resort and the Canyon's Resort, so you can easily access all three resorts. It's a quick shuttle ride, accessed steps from the house to Deer Valley and the Canyons.

The 3 master bedrooms upstairs allow for privacy and post-skiing breaks in the day. Same with the various living spaces. You can sit and read a book in front of the fire or watch a game/movie on the tv in the living room. The mud room/game room allows for fun at any hour of the day and great for kids. The private hot tub on the deck allows for another fun gathering space. And, the heated driveway is so convenient. The ability to walk to great restaurants and bars, fun outdoor activities, spectacular shopping, and beauty year-round was a huge selling point for us. We like to ski/snowboard but enjoy other winter sports, and Park City has it all. Easy access to snow-showing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. There's a beautiful new indoor ice skating rink. The restaurants and nightlife are much more fun than we anticipated! There's live music year-round. No worry about drinking and driving or driving at night in the snow! The Egyptian Theatre keeps us entertained. We enjoy Park City as much in the other seasons as in the winter. We white water raft in the spring and water ski, float, kayak, golf, hike, and bike in the summer. And there are shopping outlets in Kimball Junction in addition to Whole Foods and movie theatres. The state of Utah is spectacular, with so much to see. Our favorite day trips are Mirror Lake in the stunning Uinta mountains and Sundance Resort for hiking, lunch, or dinner.
