Excellent property! Antigua locals are naturally kind, and Trevor definitely was that on check-in & check-out! He helped with the bags and provided clear checkout instructions the night before. The view is amazing!! We spent every night and morning on the balcony and I even led my family in a little yoga session on the top top and used the ocean for my 'front of the room' cues. I would definitely stay again, thank you!! Oh and the restaurant across the street, Bella Vista, is beautiful with yummy food!

Amazing stay

Had an amazing stay at the villa. All was a smooth process. Carol and Trevor were extremely helpful with all questions we had. The villa was exactly as described and even better views in person. Will definitely stay again

Wonderful break!

We had the most incredible stay at this property. Every question was answered super speedily by Carol and Trevor. The views are what this property is all about. The sunsets from the terrace are second to none and we raced back every day to make sure we didn’t miss it. It was very homely and we immediately felt comfortable. Fantastic value for money, especially compared to the hotels in the same area. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you!

Antigua vacation

We stayed here for 10 days. Lovely views. Close to Dickerson beach and many great restaurants. Home had an odd layout, with living room on one end of house, with bedroom between living room and kitchen. ( We didn’t even use the living room) most of our time was spent out on the patio. Home was clean, beds comfortable, and kitchen was well equipped. Carol was very easy to communicate with. Trevor was great, was there when we arrived at the house and explained everything thoroughly. Beautiful view

For us beds are very important. The beds here were comfortable. It took some getting used to, adjusted after the first sleep. The bathrooms were very recently upgraded. The kitchen was ok. I know people don’t cook much where they stay but when you stay longer as we did , you want a workable kitchen, this one was just adequate. The space between the two counters was not big enough for two to maneuver without getting in each others way. The living room sofa and chair should be replaced as the cushions would move around and sink in places and also had a removable cover that didn’t fit properly. To get to the living room though you had to go through a bedroom which was very strange.Although there was an outdoor porch , the tiles on it were cracked and broken in spots and when wet, quite slippery. There was a nice two seater with two matching chairs but it if you wanted to lounge on the loungers, although they were nice and new they were rock hard with no pads. There was a new umbrella which was sorely needed , but it was way too small and too light and a slight wind would have it lifting up and out of the base . We never even went to the upper porch as there was no protection from the sun and again rock hard loungers. The view though was spectacular. Also just a one minute walk away was a wonderful Italian restaurant. The short walk to the beach was actually not that long but the return is up and very steep. We managed to find a place to park to go to the beach, every time.

Dickenson Bay Sunset

We had an amazing stay at this vacation home! The views of Dickinson Bay were absolutely stunning, and the sunsets were beyond beautiful—definitely a highlight of our trip. The host made everything so easy, responding promptly to any questions we had and ensuring we felt well taken care of. The location was perfect—close to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants, which made our stay even more convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and we loved being able to prepare food and enjoy it with that gorgeous view. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

location ideal

We were very pleased with our stay at this villa. The views are magnificent. Even better than the pictures on the site. The villa was clean and it had everything we needed for our vacation. We could walk to Dickinson Beach and several restaurants by the water. We also walked across the street to Bella Vita for several meals while we were there. The food was very good. You can find enough to do near the villa without renting a car for the week. There are also many tours available if you want to explore the island. If we return to the Villa I don't think that we will rent a car again. Driving can be stressful if you aren't use to driving on the left side of the road. Plus the roads have a lot of potholes.The owner of the Villa, Carol and caretaker, Trevor, are just wonderful to deal with. We felt very welcomed by them both. Trevor is available whenever you need him and makes sure that you are happy during your stay. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay at this little piece of paradise. Thanks, Linda and Dave

More than we expected

Spacious and beautiful accommodation overall. The 3rd room exceeded our expectations as it is a living room that is the size of a full apartment minus a kitchen. Any issues we had were quickly attended to. We did think the walk to the beach was closer but it was still fairly close and the hill it was on provided the amazing view

Glorious Stay (despite Hurricane Tammy)

Me, my wife and two sons (11 & 13 years) enjoyed a wonderful stay in Oct 2023. Communication with Carol and housekeeper Trevor was first rate throughout. The house is spacious and well equipped. Its a very short walk down to Dickenson Bay beach but also a short drive to Runaway and Fort James beaches which we frequented. The beds were comfy and air conditioning very effective making for a very relaxed stay. The only slight criticism was the wi-fi which was very weak in the main lounge making it difficult to stream films. However Trevor went above and beyond to resolve the problem and i suspect this won't be an issue going forward. Once again, huge thanks to Trevor and Carol who were very understanding when our flight was cancelled due to Hurricane Tammy and allowed us to stay an extra night without charge. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back some day.

Lovely location

The view was wonderful and the living space was as nice. Updates appliances and the AC worked very well. The kitchen was stocked so we were able to save money cooking during our stay. The beaches are close by. We hit the beach the very first evening. Will stay again.

Week in Paradise #best view

Our Family of 5 had a relaxing stay in Antigua. The villa was well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your time on the Island. Trevor was very helpful and kind. He helped arrange a tour outing and suggested many wonderful restaurants and places for shopping. We enjoyed our kayaking tour through the mangroves with the Southern Coast Horizion Conservation group! We also spent many evenings enjoying the Views of Dickinson Bay and gorgeous Sunsets! Morning coffee and pastries from the local Bakery "Dawn to Dusk" on the outside covered porch was just what we needed to start our day! Thank you for helping us enjoy a relaxing and memorable trip!

Private view of the Caribbean

We stayed for one week and greatly enjoyed the porch and the rooftop deck views. We got some spectacular sunset photos. The villa is exactly as advertised. The third full bath with shower is a real bonus. We used the kitchen a lot too. FirstChoice grocery store is only a 5 minute easy drive so we went there multiple times. The walk to the beach was easy enough and took about 10 minutes. The beach was not busy during our stay. Our favorite restaurant was Bella Vita, just a minute walk across the road. Our only warning is to plan your driving routes. Google maps tried to route us onto nonexistent roads from the airport; we got lost and Trevor came to the rescue and we followed him back (what a great guy to do that!). It is actually an easy drive if you stick to the main roads. The driving in the region around the villa is easy but I would avoid driving in or near the town of St. John's unless you are super confident with local driving customs. We enjoyed our stay and the villa is a good choice for the independent traveler.

Spectacular view with short walk to the beach

Outstanding views of Dickenson Bay from patio and roof deck . The location is very good with beach only a short walk. Several restaurants are close by. We ate at Bella Vita's, Ana's; Bay House, and Putters. All were good and and reasonably priced. The unit was accurate as shown and described n the listing. It has all the basic amenities except for a dish washer. The place was comfortable. Wi-fi was good. TV / Cable had a wide selection of stations. The décor and furnishings would benefit from some updating. Bed in master was a little firm. Trevor was very friendly. He met us at the rental to show how everything worked. And again to take the the keys when we left. The transaction was seamless.

Amazing views

This villa ticks all the boxes and is just as described and shown in the photos. The location is perfect. The vista from the patio and roof terrace are fantastic. We had better panoramic sunset views than if we were sat on the beach. There is no shade at all on the roof terrace and after about 2pm the patio is in full sun. Trevor did provide us with a sun umbrella on request. The Villa is fully equipped with everything you need and is very comfortable. WiFi can be intermittent, especially when streaming. Excellent A/C and ceiling fans. Plenty of air circulation ensuring good sleep. There are several good restaurants, beach bars, a cinema and 2 Supermarkets within a 10 minute drive. A car is essential as buses are not reliable (or close) Trevor, the manager, was very helpful and prompt at answering messages. On our first night he showed us to a local bar to watch a football match. Contact with Carole, from enquiry through booking and to arrival was excellent and she gave us plenty of information. If you want a quiet, relaxing stay in Antigua this villa provides all you need. Thank you for a fabulous first week. We will be returning to beautiful Antigua in the future.

Wonderful stay on a wonderful island

This property offers amazing outdoor space, with an excellent view. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and Trevor went above and beyond to make sure we settled in well. This was a perfect location for our trip and we hope to be back!
