My 50th Celebration/Vacation

We really enjoyed this property. Serene and beautiful. This space was beautifully appointed. We loved the cookies and wine. Wish we had more cookies! We hope to visit again soon :)

BOOK IT NOW, YOU WONT REGRET IT! From the moment that we arrived at the property, we were stunned by all the effort that went into making us feel welcomed. If you’re looking for amazing views of vineyards, an ultra clean and modern living space, a place equipped/stocked with all the necessities, and a host that specializes in hospitality… You’ve found your place to stay! I’d give this gem a 10 out of 10 rating and will definitely return!!

Wanted to stay longer!

We had an amazing time. Melanie and Johnathan were wonderful. The details set this property apart from the rest. We had several bookings in the area and wish we had more time to chill on the property. Beautiful morning sunrise. We had a beautiful anniversary weekend. Cheers to the Greers!

Perfect getaway

The place was fantastic! Just as described. Can’t imagine a better place to relax and be right in the middle of the beautiful countryside of Paso Robles. Highly recommended! You won’t go wrong.

Paso Robles Gem

I booked this incredible suite for my boyfriend’s surprise birthday getaway. He usually plans our trips and picks our rental/hotel, so imagine how proud I felt when he said this was his favorite property to date! We stayed on the vineyard in early December. The colors of autumn were beautiful, the air was crisp and the views were breathtaking. We were greeted by the cutest cats and chickens roaming around, delicious chocolate chip cookies, snacks and water (and wine!), luxurious and cozy vibes, intricate and thoughtful details all over. From booking to the end of our trip, Melanie was consistently responsive, super helpful and involved. She sent over a detailed list of recommendations, local events that week, pertinent property info and answered any questions. Our stay was peaceful, private and exceeded expectations. You can see how much love the Greers put into this property. You can feel how much care they put into making sure your stay is amazing. Even though we didn’t meet face-to-face, you just know they’re the most warm, gracious and welcoming hosts. I’m already recommending this gem to my family and friends.

The stress evaporates

The moment you enter the driveway and see the vineyards, the flowers and all the attention to detail, the crazy work pace is quickly forgotten. The room is gorgeous and romantic, the cookies (that Melanie makes herself!) are delish. They’re both incredibly thoughtful and helpful in suggesting ideas of things to do. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

A Ten Star Stay!

Melanie has thought of every possible detail to make this private, quiet, comfortable vineyard getaway perfect. An added bonus was hearing the elk bugeling in the early morning outside of the vineyard and watching a spectacular sunrise from the deck.

Far Exceeded Expectations

Truly our best VRBO experience. The hosts were delightful, the property is gorgeous, and the accommodations were perfect. From the ultra comfy bed, to the cozy bedding, and the high quality throw blankets and towels…the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Melanie provided coffee, creamers, snacks, and ice. She baked cookies and wrote us a card for our anniversary. She even put a digital banner on the tv to wish us a happy anniversary. The dishes were substantial (Crate and Barrel) and the furnishings were quality. I loved the vaulted ceilings and wood floors. The views from the suite were beautiful, and even more so from the fire pit. I woke up early and watched the sun rise over the vineyard, and then saw the sunset from the driveway. I went to Paso for the wine tasting, but it was difficult to leave the property. I will 100% stay here again…and again.

Beautiful and enchanting stay

My fiance and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. Our hosts were so friendly and gave us so many good recommendations for the area. The property had an incredible view of the rolling hills and vineyards. The suite was spacious, clean, had everything we needed, and was the perfect stay for our weekend getaway. We loved how secluded it was, yet only a 15 minute drive from downtown Paso Robles. We will definitely be back in the future!

Top Notch Accomodations

We had a wonderful stay at Stay at the Vineyard. Everything was first class, comfortable, and so welcoming with water, cookies, chocolates and snacks. Even providing phone charging stations by the bed tells you how much attention to detail and welcoming the hosts provide. The Greers were so helpful and the property is a wonderful and tranquil setting to view the vineyard and for a nice walk around the property. Fantastic Experience

From the moment I planned our trip to Paso Robles and choose Stay On The Vineyard as our accommodation for the week our fantastic experience began. Melanie and Johnathon were the most gracious hosts. We were in constant communication and Melanie gave us great tips and suggestions since it was our first time to the area. The Suite was so comfortable, it felt like home. We had everything we needed and and then some. The fresh cookies and complimentary bottle of wine was an unexpected treat. Waking up every morning to watch the sun come up over the vines in their very own Vineyard was exactly what I imagined when I saw the pictures. We actually looked forward to getting back to the property each evening. I have never said that about a hotel. Great Easter getaway

We had a great and comfortable stay. Stylish and modern rental with tons of natural light, all the amenities we needed and a very homey feel. The owners were very helpful and friendly in their communications and the attention to detail was wonderful including a welcome bottle of wine, waters and snacks. It I was a great home base for exploring the local wineries and restaurants. And it was such a bonus to have an EV charger available to us. A wonderful stay that we hope to come back to.

Sweet Suite

Fantastic stay! The Suite had all of the amenities we needed and we were welcomed with the yummiest homemade chocolate chip cookies, chilled wine, and many little snacks and treats. Our hosts Melanie and Jonathan were very warm and friendly. Beautiful vineyard setting and the most comfortable bed and couch. Will definitely recommend to others.

Peaceful & relaxing!!

We stayed at Melanie & Jonathan’s place for 2 nights. The apartment was spacious and felt very open, with high ceilings and windows for extra light. They are awesome hosts and provided extras like homemade cookies, snacks and beverages in the fridge! We especially enjoyed the outdoor gas pure pit at sunset as we looked out over the vineyard and hills West of Paso Robles. We would definitely recommend this place to friends/family! Look forward to coming back some time soon.

Beautiful loft in a gorgeous setting

Everything about our stay was perfect. The loft was very well appointed, the bed was extra comfy, and the location was central to our adventures. The hosts were warm and welcoming, eager to give suggestions, or check to see if there was anything that would make our stay better. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Staying at the Vineyard is the best

This is our fifth stay at this beautiful property. We love the views, the vineyard, and this roomy, beautiful suite. It is just perfect. We love driving into town and local wineries, but we love coming back to the suite and relaxing. One of our favorite places to be!

Fall Getaway

My wife and I took a trip up to Paso to get away for a few days before Thanksgiving. This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The new owners have done a great job. The property was just as beautiful and peaceful as we remembered! Our hosts were very welcoming and set the stage for us to have a great, not to mention relaxing, getaway.

A most special place!

My husband and I happened upon Stay at the Vineyard while looking for a place for our 45th anniversary. What a fortunate discovery as it was more than we imagined! Melanie and Jonathan are incredibly welcoming, and every thought is given to making that welcome last the whole stay. The Stay Suite is a bit of heaven in the hills of Paso—off the beaten path but still conveniently close to so much. Melanie’s knowledge of the area, the wineries and restaurants is shared and every recommendation is spot on. Can’t say enough about what a special place this is, made more so by the hosts!

With Melanie being in the wine industry herself, she and Jonathan have created many meaningful relationships with winemakers in the area, it's not uncommon for us to be hosting a local winemaker on our deck for happy hour.

Your private suite has its own stairway that leads to your private balcony and approx. 1000 sq. ft. room. Watch the sun rise and set from your oversized, well-stocked suite. Enjoy huge open spaces, horses, cows, and even some bird watching. You might see a bald eagle, some night owls, and even Elk down the road. Just minutes to Hwy 101, hundreds of award-winning wineries, and amazing shopping and restaurants. Great area for biking or walking, too.
Sitting high above the rest of the property, the views from this vineyard perch are outstanding. Your private deck and delicious views.
