This is a hard review to write because the owner is really lovely and the view is stunning. However, the cottage is not "Okanagan living at its finest" as described. The accommodation was okay, but everything seems a bit dark and tired - faded couches and pillows, worn rugs, outdated furniture, electrical outlets that don't work...
A fan upstairs was so loud when running we couldn't keep it turned on and a fan on the main floor didn't work.
Both beds also need new mattresses.
If you'd like to eat a meal outside overlooking the lake, this appears to be the only cottage that doesn't have a large deck with seating to hang out on. There is a small veranda and we enjoyed morning coffee, soaking in the views...
Unfortunately, the cottages are close! So while we sipped coffee, we were looking at our neighbours just a few feet away.
All this being said, our group of four had a lovely time swimming in the beautiful lake. The water is warm and the view across the lake is stunning. The cottage had games to play and plenty of towels for multiple swims a day!
You park in a parking lot and then carry your belongings down a set of stairs (only about 15), and there are more stairs down to the lake.
