This local Historic Building was originally built in 1842. Utilized as a Baptist church for 154 yrs and was de-consecrated in 1996. After its closure, it was mostly used for storage for 20 yrs. We acquired the building in 2016 and after 3 yrs of renovation, it was reborn as an incredible 4 season short-term rental cottage and wedding venue. Backing unto the Jones’s brook and bordering a very old cemetery. It is sure to leave you relaxed and amazed at the serenity of this special place. The entire cottage interior is gorgeous , nicely restored while keeping the exterior as old church charm, once inside, you don't feel like your in a church, even with the stain glass window, it is extremely spacious and the added touch of games and the pool table, pianos, guitar, exterior foyer, there's something fun for everyone. Each corner of Jones Brook tells a story and you will discover something new and interesting that you didn't see during your first peek at the cottage, enough details for everyone to admire.
