Perfect place to stay in lovely Aldeburgh

Excellent location just a short walk to the main street & beachfront. Very spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable property & well equipped. Worked perfectly for our group of 4 friends.

Good location

We all had a good time, the only negative comment is be careful when you leave and close the front door, as there is no clearance around the door knob, and a few of us trapped our hand. It’s fine when you are aware of it.

Review of Dane's House

A perfect house to celebrate a 90th Birthday with all rooms on the ground floor. The house was well equipped for all our needs & a pleasant garden to enjoy the sunshine.

Great location in Aldeburgh

We stayed for a week with my family and had a lovely stay. Easy to find and parking at the house is excellent and on street parking is easy. Great location, just a few minutes walks down to the high street and beach. The front door handle is a little tricky, it turns to the right which is very close to the door frame so be careful not to catch your hand. We had a couple of accidents doing this. Very clean, lovely condition house and furnished to a high standard. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, lovely house

I stayed in Danes House with 3 friends, it was an excellent location, walking distance to the high street, and all that Aldeburgh had to offer, it was great that there was off street parking for one vehicle with parking for the other car on the street. It was a very spacious flat which was well furnished, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. It was odd that the flat could accommodate 8 adults and there were 3 potential places to eat, one table in the kitchen, one in the garden and another in the garden summer house but none could sit 8 people, as there was only 4 of us this wasn’t a problem for us. My biggest criticism was that the kitchen floor and bathroom floors were sticky, not dirty but possibly what was used to wash the floors meant they were left “sticky”. Also the bathrooms were not as clean as we would have liked, the shower screen in the master was left smeary and the chrome in all the bathrooms were the same. Also the plugs in each sink were broken and rubber plugs were left. The overflow in my sink had black all around it which I attempted to clean with a toothbrush but it was long standing and difficult to remove so we felt the bathrooms could be cleaner. We felt a small two step kitchen ladder would have helped the more vertically challenged of us, reach the very high shelves with the crockery and glasses on. Apart from these small issues we had a good stay and enjoyed our time there.

A lovely house .

The house was lovely and in a good part of town as we had no problems parking. The garden and garden room looked great and we were sorry that the weather meant we didn’t get to use them. The house was well equipped but needed a none slip mat in the first bedroom shower. Also a potato masher for the kitchen. We had a good time and will visit the area again. We will certainly book with you again.

Great for a weekend away.

Excellent location a few minutes' walk from the high street and beach. Comfortable, spacious and clean. A great base to enjoy Aldeburgh.

Perfect

This was a fantastic rental property for a large family celebration. It was comfortable and beautifully presented. We loved the outside shelter. Perfect location for the beach and amenities. We would highly recommend staying here!

My stay at Danes House

What an awesome place. Every need thought of. Location fantastic. Like a 5 star hotel. Decoration was lovely and the place was spotless. Layout makes it ideal for large groups. Thank you.
