The house was beautiful and had lots of sleeping availability. The great room is difficult to heat, even with a fire, and important to note that you are asked not to wear shoes, and should have slippers or heavy socks. And you cannot turn up the heat. No axe/hatchet to make kindling, or a shovel to clear snow off the deck/steps. The house isn't on the river, it's on a canal that is not okay to swim in. Well stocked kitchen, but missing things like extra garbage bags. The hot tub was a nice amenity, but the jets don't really work. Overall we really liked staying here, but would come back when it is warmer.
