Bliss at the Beach

The property was great, plenty of space and had everything we needed. Wonderful views of the coast from the front deck and really handy to Mollymook shops. The pool was a blessing over a very hot weekend! Would definitely recommend it.

Great week!

The house is very comfortable, especially for young families with a large play room downstairs and a pool out the back. It is an easy walk to North Mollymook Beach, with the option to avoid the stairs (great if you have a pram), and also to the village shops. We had a great week and will be back.

Fabulous stay I Mollymook

We had the best time. We gathered for a family function and everything was perfect. Great location and lovely accommodation , perfect for us we had souch room the three children couldn't decide which bed to sleep in. Fabulous. Everything you could possibly need for a great time

Easy going beach house

This house is the perfect relaxed style beach house suitable for everyone of all ages. Rooms are large, the living/dining room and kitchen look out towards the ocean with spectacular views from the deck. A big back yard includes a sparkling pool and still space for kids to run around. It has a good laundry, two bathrooms and lots of storage space. I appreciated the nice table wear and large dining table for meals and entertainment. The beach is a few minutes walk across the road. My adult family had a great time! We will be back!

Great Family Holiday

Location location location!! Perfect family holiday, walking distance to the beach. Shops and restaurants around the corner. The pool kept us sane with little kids. Owners great at communicating. For a small price beds were made on arrival. Highly recommended. Have already rebooked.

Classic beach house

Perfect for a family stay at the beach. Easy to live in, we were able to relax without worrying about anything inside being too precious. Great deck and views, very short walk to the beach.

Very disappointed

Great location, but on arrival we found the house was absolutely covered in cobwebs and nasty black spiders both inside and out. General cleanliness was poor. Kitchen cupboards were greasy and we found plastic bottles, dirty tissues and even a cigarette butt under the lounge. The kids were to scared to sleep downstairs in the rumpus room due do the spiders and webs on the insides of the windows. The rumpus room was so musty we closed the doors and did not enter the area for our stay. Very disappointed and will not be returning

Home away from home

We had a wonderful getaway in Mollymook. The place is large and very comfortable. We cooked up a storm, relaxed on the balcony and had a great time in the pool. This property is truly comfortable. Great with kids. Communication with Mick and Fiona was great.

High expectations not met

Sadly we were not thrilled with our visit to this beach house. It seemed as if the house had been immediately vacated by a family who already lived there. The pool was not clean and there were random objects and furniture items throughout the house. We loved the communal family area upstairs and the view however we were disappointed with the overall house.

Fabulous view

Comfortable, homey and easy to relax in. Well equipped kitchen. Great front deck with views over the ocean and to the Ulladulla headland. Quiet neighbourhood.

Well located family beach house

Great location/view, comfortable, little bit of wear and tear but overall a great functional beach house. Would stay again. Fiona was very accommodating and prompt in getting back to us on a couple of requests.

Great views and wonderful stay

The house had great views from the living and kitchen rooms. The beds were comfortable and facilities were great. Our only complaint was that the dishwasher did not work very well. The bathrooms and bedrooms were a good size for five adults. Short walk to the beach and to Rick Stein's restaurant. We will come back!

Perfect house for a holiday

As a family group of 11, 8adults 3 children ,we could not have picked a better place to stay . Even with so many people there was more than enough space for us all . The bedrooms were all clean and spacious and the beds very comfortable , a lovely big lounge room and kitchen with magnificent views of the beach ,which was only one street away and walking distance . The house has everything and more you would need ,including a lovely pool ,with loungers and pool toys also balls bats etc for the kids to play with . Game ,toys and books for varied ages were included ,magazines ,DVDs , Foxtel ,free wifi ,there was even staples in the pantry cupboard .and a coffee machine . It was very hot when we stayed but the house had multiple fans in just about every room so it wasn’t a problem and of course being so close there was a nice sea breeze. My only suggestion would be a big umbrella for outside near the pool area . Correspondence with the owner Mick was easy and always prompt . I would recommend Magnificent Bayview to anyone and would happily stay there again .

Lovely beach house

Three generations of our family enjoyed a lovely Easter break at this perfectly positioned beach house. It was an easy five minute walk to the beach and there were expansive beach views from the deck. We enjoyed two leisurely BBQ dinners on the deck with the sound of waves in the background and amazing stars above. The house was very well appointed with everything we needed and more. This is an older style beach house that has been thoughtfully renovated and while the bathrooms are a little dated in decor they were clean and functional. The showers were great. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us! The pool was spotlessly clean and warm and the leafy back garden a peaceful oasis in the afternoon. The house was very much as it is shown in the photos, in my opinion it doesn't claim to be anything it's not - it's a typical beach house and we would love to return one day!

A pleasant stay

I was concerned after reading the negative reviews of Bayview but discovered, upon arrival, that their mean-spirited comments were unfounded. Maintenance has been undertaken - no holes in the walls, no missing tiles, new blinds in the lounge room. We had to hunt for the mould that was “everywhere” and found only a few spots. An electrician fixed the exterior lights on Monday and a new couch was delivered on Tuesday, even though we found the old one to be very comfortable. The BBQ on the front deck was clean (no cobwebs) and we used it for dinner one night. The recent reviews did not mention all of the great features - fabulous views with cooling sea breezes, a sparkling pool, fast wifi, comfortable beds, large and airy spaces, and an excellent level of cleanliness. The kitchen is well-equipped and the appliances are all clean and work well. There are a few dated features, such as the bathroom tiles, but that’s a matter of decor rather than comfort. We had a very pleasant holiday at Bayview and would recommend it to all.

A great holiday house

After booking Bayview, I was concerned to read the previous two negative reviews but, upon arrival, found that they were largely unfounded. The house is in need of a few touch-ups but there were no holes in the wall or missing tiles. We had to search for the few specks of mould which were supposedly everywhere. The owners are quick to respond to any problems - an electrician fixed the exterior lights on our first day there and the couch (which we found very comfortable) was replaced on the second day. It was mean-spirited of the negative reviewers to focus on a few problems (real or imagined) when Bayview has many outstanding features - a great location, fabulous views, a sparkling pool, fast wifi, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen and large, light, airy rooms. Some of the decor could be updated but the important thing was that we were very comfortable and had a most enjoyable holiday.

Very Disappointed

As per "Rick 30/12/17" we found the place very disappointing. None of the faults mentioned in Rick's review have been repaired, despite claims otherwise. We too have taken photos and will email the owners. On top of this we note: - The sofa in the living area is so warn out and dirty we could not bring ourselves to sit on it for our entire stay. - The bathrooms had mould and plenty of it. - The BBQs were in need of a thorough clean. The rear one was unusable as it was not connected to gas and had not been used for who knows how long it was full of cobwebs. We did not use either during our stay. - Cobwebs everywhere. - Entrance lights covered in webs and did not work. - Rear screen door could not be locked. We could not fault communication with the owners but the house was a big disappointment. We won't be back!

Brutally disappointed

Unfortunately, we stayed just before maintenance was to be undertaken. We were totally shocked walking into the property, holes in the walls, paint bubbling and peeling, missing and cracked tiles in the bathroom, broken blinds and missing/broken fly screens. We started taking photos to protect our deposit - but it became too depressing. The view and location are great.
