We stayed at this townhouse in south Palm Springs as part of our winter pilgrimage out of the gloom of the Pacific Northwest. The townhouse is part of a large, quiet development of well maintained one story townhouses that includes several swimming pools and tennis courts amid large lawns. One of those pools is a few yards from the patio of the unit but does not impact your privacy due to the hedges along the patio. We used the pool nearly every day that the weather permitted.
The Smoke Tree Shopping Center is close by to the south and has terrific restaurants, a good grocery store, and other interesting shops. The townhouse is just south of the Tahquitz Creek Channel that has a car free walking path and is next to one of the best neighborhoods of Mid Century Modern homes, Deep Wells. And downtown Palm Springs is only a short distance away.
The unit was roomy, very comfortable and well appointed. It is every bit as attractive as the photos show. We liked the bright and cheery décor. The kitchen had enough pots, pans, and dishes to allow us to cook full meals. The furniture and master bed (the only bed we used) were very comfortable. There was a lot of linen and a nice shower. We enjoyed sitting on the lovely patio with both a seating area and a small table. The internet was strong and reliable.
I hope this description is totally irrelevant soon, but we were there during the first wave of the Covid 19 pandemic (March 2020). We felt safe and were able to take nice walks outdoors, get groceries and other necessities with little risk. The city of Palm Springs was on the vanguard of responding to the pandemic.
