Snapper Republic lodge is a unique accommodation offering for small groups, large families, adventurers' and fishermen. The lodge is suitable for group sizes ranging from 5 to 12 guests.

MINIMUM GROUP SIZE IS 5 GUESTS. MINIMUN 2 NIGHT STAY.

Under Kiwi lodge tradition you are expected to bring your own linen ( namely sheets and towels) We provide mattress protectors, pillows and duvets. This helps keep the price-point, per guest, as low as possible. We have some spares for anyone who forgets to bring their own.

The pricing is as follows:

Base rate, before agent fees, is $155 for two (2.) guests. Each additional guest, over a group size of two (2.), is $30 per person, per night extra. A $60 cleaning fee applies per stay. Minimum group size is 5 guests. Two night minimum.

The minimum group size is 5 guests; the max group size is 12.

The minimum stay is 2 nights.

Children over the age of 4 are treated as a guest.



The lodge has large living and entertainment spaces including oversized lounge and dinning areas, a games room with a bar leaner and a large outside decking area with extensive harbor, island and mountain views.

The lodge has an urban-industrial style vibe with a New England twist with its old-world timber furniture.

The lodge can only be booked by one group at a time, so there is no sharing of facilities with other groups or individuals. You will have the entire lodge ( down stairs and up stairs ) to yourselves.

There is a diverse and flexible range of sleeping options as the 10 beds are either located in two separate bedrooms upstairs or in the two partition dorm room areas downstairs.

The lodge is an affordable small group option for central Coromandel town.

The lodge has 2x air conditioning units downstairs and 1x air conditioning unit upstairs.

Ckeck-in is contactless, self check-in. Lock box codes are provided.

The lodge has fishermen friendly credentials with off-road parking for a few boats, filleting benches, wood smoker and bait & ice freezers. Top-Catch bait shop is 90 meters walk from the lodge. There is a good choice of nearby boat ramps. [ 0.4 km to Jack's Point boat ramp, 3km to Long Bay boat ramp, 8km to Te Kouma boat ramp, 29km to Waikawau boat ramp ]

The in-town-location means it is only a 2 minute walk to: cafe's, supermarket, bottle store, restaurants, fish & chip shop, bakery, bait & tackle shop and unique gift shops.
